Really sorry about James Delight Graham but at least you backed him.
I’m kicking myself for not seeing that Maelstrom was running in the last race at
Ascot today and he dots up at 14/1…I was 100% certain that I put him in my Tracker.
He would have been my Nap in 3 horses if I had only seen him. I gave up after not getting any winners and
went out in the garden. Usually I will always look at the last races on the card as they are sometimes
lucky for me. He would have got me out of trouble like when he won at 5/1 last time. On top of that I
decided not to include Havana Blue in my selections today and didn’t even back him.Feeling like a prize plonker today, there was so much going on with about 4 meetings with really good
racing including the buzz around Constitution Hill (such a shame he didn’t win). I lost the plot.Lesson learnt, but doubt Maelstrom will go off at 14’s any time soon….
Hope you all did much better than I did today (not difficult)..Did type a longer post but it decided to disappear so typing this quickly on the computer without many emoji’s ..

Friendly Soul gets me off to a decent start all down hill now .Was slightly lucky winner as I think the third Sunly was very unlucky everything went wrongTwo near misses at decent prices but no hard luck stories have played a small win bet on bay city roller at 10/3
Unlucky with Bay City Roller Nick but Ten Bob Tony ran a really decent race to place, still finishing in front of Gstaad and Opera Ballo
I think Coolmoore’s pace horse Dorset lit up Opera Ballo and Buick had to let him go. I wish Coolmore wouldn’t ruin races like this it seems unfair on other owners and trainers.Friendly Soul got first run on all of them and she was an impressive winner ..Well done Nick 🏆
Sunly was my paddock pick in that race and then blew the start making up ground towards the finish but too late.
I think the Commentator must have been on Sunly because he completely forgot to call the winner until she had passed the Winning Post. Awful commentary at the finish..🤫

Our busy candle/craft show season is upon us. Most weekends between now and Christmas will be taken up. So very little live racing for me (sadly).
For those that care, we did get five extra swaps for the Godolphin comp. So many swaps, not enough horses/races to go around.
As a long suffering Spurs fan (60+ years) I understand your comment Nick.

i was there in front of the shelf as a young 15yo that result neigh on put us down for certain. Tried to get off school on the Monday by my late mum was having none of it. The Wilkins miss sealed the deal
