‘3 days of summer’ ☀️ and spending time with the Grandkids
Hope everyone is keeping well.
Not sure about the Godolphin competition it seems an impossible task to keep up with all the swap options that keep coming our way.
You really need to be on your toes.
I’m plodding on with it a bit longer
emphasis on ‘plodding’ 🤣😅

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 27, 2026 at 19:15 #1767446Akkira 100/30
Suddenly I See 6/1In the handicaps tomorrow at Sandown to
It very hot here in London trip
Also is it true that Goldolphin not got any horses in Oaks or Derby entries to shich a suprise
May 28, 2026 at 02:47 #1767457I have backed…
Arabian Light 16/1 EW
in the Brigadier GerardTaking a chance that Ombudsman will need the race before Ascot and the extra weight may hinder him when he makes his challenge on the tough uphill finish if something has got a couple of lengths on him.
Ryan Moore a very interesting booking and he has ridden the winner of this race about 7 times..
Best of luck Darren and all having a bet tomorrow. Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 29, 2026 at 06:15 #1767481Jac the old fav Dubai Future keeps on doing it, hope for me yet
Hope you are well and Dave is on the mend
May 29, 2026 at 06:33 #1767482Nick I was so pleased to see that Dubai Future won yesterday but sadly I was not on at the amazing price of 28/1 and I think I’ve backed him everytime he’s run before that.
Best of luck for the weekend..the Godolphin horses continue to puzzle but they’re starting to come good again.
Strange ride by Moore on Arabian Light yesterday..never seemed to ask much of the horse.🤫
Jac x:rose:Dave been much better last few weeks and enjoying the lovely weather.
Hope you are keeping well too.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 5, 2026 at 00:03 #1767881Good luck for the Derby Competition tomorrow
and if you are still playing the Godolphin Fantasy Competition you now have …
5 SWAPS PER MONTH to use which means you can completely change your stable this week and then several times over the Royal Ascot Meeting if you want too and there may be Bonus Races (with luck)
It’s been very quiet on here..I hope everyone is ok. ✨️😃
Legacy Link 7/2 WIN is my Oaks Selection
I did initially choose Venetian Lace but ground may be a concern and the extra distance. I will have a small EW bet on her if she goes double figuresGood luck tomorrow and for the Derby over the weekend..Lots of great racing to come..

Graham..Great choices today and the Oaks winner too
Well done.
Didn’t old Popmaster run a good race.

JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 6, 2026 at 09:33 #1768059Hopefully turn yesterday’s poor form round
Well done BigG
Good luck today Jac and GrahamAdded Sparks Fly ew
June 6, 2026 at 11:23 #1768094Hello Everyone! I hope everyone is doing well.
I’m not sure I’m flying Jac, but it was an okay first day. A big day is needed today, along with a return from my Wellington! That’s a lot to ask for

Keep it going Graham, you can bring it home for the Meydan thread!
Things are busy here, we are getting a bathroom remodeled, so there’s lots of chaos & loud noises. We still have three more candle shows to do before our “summer break” – including today, so no live racing for me. It’s also getting hot here, so that doesn’t help our candles.
Jac – How is Dave doing? Hopefully more good days than bad.
Graham – How’s your health, hopefully you’re on the mend from your fall.
I did remember to get my daylight cup selections in this week, after forgetting last week.
I did watch the Oaks yesterday and thought Thundering On looked very impressive, with a nice turn of foot inside the last furlong.
Good Luck with all your bets and multiple competition selections!
Take CareJune 6, 2026 at 12:07 #1768105Yep Jac Popmaster ran a cracker, we both did well out of him

In the last I couldn’t make my mind up about between Aurora Majesty
and Colombier. In the end I put them the wrong way round with Colombier
winning it at 12/1. I was well ahead in the day so I couldn’t resist
putting an e/w on Colombier at 16/1…..5:50 Epsom Downs
Colombier – Win
16/1

Stake: £40.00 (£20.00×2)Returned: £440.00Pity I didn’t swap them on my Pick3. I’d only have been 1 point off
MICKEYJP’S derriere with the 27 points. Anyway, I had the option and
MICKEYJP played a blinder. I’m more than happy with any podium place
and it was only day 1 after all. It’s the big day todayI’ve just spent about 2 hours going through what I can only describe
as the worst Derby I’ve ever seen. There’s nothing that shows the type
of real class that normally sticks out like a sore thumb. Believe it or
not, the only horse that I can see improving over 1m 4f is one that should
not even be entered here. But I’m only going by my eyes, so I’ve had a bit
of 100/1 on Rebel Rocker. 80/1 e/w with Bet365 also. I’ve tried so hard to
find reasons not to back him, but my gut reckons he has a real chance of
a place, even although all sense tells me that it’s a horse trained by
someone who can’t win a Derby and a jockey who has so little knowledge of
running in a race like this. The rest are just so average.I suppose the only proper chance, because the rest are poor, is Item who
I’ve used a bit of my sensible head based on his last run where he seemed
not to know what he should be doing, but eventually just took off in the
last furlong.4.00 Epsom Item 6.5 (11/2) with Betfair
4.00 Epsom Rebel Rocker, 100/1 Betfair and 80/1 e/w with Bet365.Good luck everyone
June 6, 2026 at 12:13 #1768108Thanks Jac, Nick and Andre. I’m doing ok, more tests getting done.

Hope your health is holding up Nick, I know you’re going through the
wars a bit too. As they say, tie a knot at the bottom of your rope
and hang on
June 6, 2026 at 12:18 #1768111Just noticed that the jockey on Rebel Rocker has been put in the
hands of Rob Hornby, he’s a decent enough jockey (sort of) and
certainly better than the young lady (who’s name I can’t even remember)
who has let someone with more experience get the leg over, if you get what
I mean
June 6, 2026 at 12:50 #1768129Graham get your Derby comp tips in .!!!!
