I can’t believe I missed a Michael Dods winner on Northern Ticker.
I was so pushed for time I didn’t have time to sus them all out or
even put reserves in the last 3. I would SOOOOOOO have put him in
my York Compy. Backing him late doesn’t make up for it

Well done for backing him Graham.. :yahoo:
I really felt for Commanche Falls being 2nd again, he was my pic in the compy today and my bet, but a fantastic 1st and 2nd result for Michael Dods yard with Northern Ticker and Commanche Falls. Backing him is the best result Graham..well done.. :good: Jac

    🌟Wow 🌟wow 🌟wow
Godolphin’s Sovereignty made history last night by winning the Travers Stakes in Saratoga by 10 lengths..having previously won the Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes, making him the 5th horse ever to achieve this.
:yahoo: Well done Sovereignty and his jockey Junior Alvarado 🏇 👏 :yahoo:
    🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wish I’d known he was running as I would have made a swap in my Stable to include him but well done if he is in yours.

I have Wise Approach running for me today and Cinderella’s Dream also runs in France today who I sadly swapped out last time so expecting to take a dive on the leaderboard today.

Will update our scoreboard tomorrow after these races. :good:

No hope of catching the Leaders with not a Bonus Race in sight  , this is really bad on Godolphin’s part with the huge successes they are having to neglect their supporters like this and make the game a very biased affair.

I managed to watch Sovereignty’s race on WHill last night but annoyingly missed watching Thoperdo Anna earlier on the card. I backed one of the outsiders ew and, for a while thought I’d backed the wrong outsider and the favourite was going to get turned over but he soon put the race to bed. I do like American racing after being introduced to it by a friend of my cousins who put the Breeders Cup on tv when I was staying in Brum many many years ago.

I missed it Moe but caught up this morning with the link below…

    🏇 👏

I can see why you love it so much I could easily get hooked if I knew more about it and took the time to watch more races.. :good:

Commanche Falls came so close, if he had won I’d have hung onto 3rd place in the Ebor comp. I remember napping him in an old Pick 3 comp a few years back, when he won at something like 25/1 – good memories!!

I also should have picked a Mullins horse for the Ebor, or the DeBromhead horse. (Hindsight is a wonderful thing)

Sovereignty is certainly a super star! He is in my Godolphin stable, along with Military Code who also scored a few points for me yesterday. I’m currently on 9,740 pts and 274th overall, with 3 swaps remaining.

Good Luck with any bets today!!

Yes that was rotten luck for Commanche Falls he’s a lovely boy.

You did so well in the York compy Andre those last two days were so tricky to find winners. It was only Fifth Column winning the last that saved me from a duck egg on Friday.

Knowing what we know now Ethical Diamond was the horse to be on..what with Mullins and then Lucinda Russell and Peter Scu winning the last on Saturday it seemed like the NH trainers came to York disguised as Dick Turpin on Black Bess and stole all the prizes…lol 🫣😅🤣

    My Godolphin Fantasy Score is…
    Points – 10940
    Position – 200
    2 Swaps remaining.

I’ll get that Leaderboard together tomorrow if John and Graham are passing by.

Hi Jac, still trailing a mile behind you guys, I’m never going to make
up from the late start, but I’ll give it a go :good:

    Points – 5330

    Position – 744

    Swaps left – 3

Here it is at last..sorry so late but had the Goodwood and York compy to keep our minds busy.. :good:

GODOLPHIN FANTASY LEAGUE – Updated Leaderboard – Monday 25th August 2025

    TRIPTYCH (Jac) – 10940 points– 200th – (2 swaps remaining)
    Euroalien (Andre) – 9740 points – 274th – (3 swaps remaining)
    John Gooch – 9140 Points – 311th – (2 swaps remaining)
    BigG (Graham) – 5330 Points – 744th – (3 swaps remaining)

With just 2 swaps remaining I seem to be leading the pack at this stage of the comp with Andre keeping very close tabs behind and John also with over 9140 points. I managed to find your score John so hope you don’t mind that I have updated for you. :rose:

Lots of Group winners for the boys in blue notably Ombudsman, Trawlerman and Sovereignty and some good points to be had.
Cinderella’s Dream disappointed in France yesterday and Notable Speech was unlucky to be beaten by just a head by Diego Valazquez in Deauville but some nice points earned for 2nd place.

Graham is holding the wooden spoon for us at the moment but still lots of chances to earn some points Graham especially if there were a few more of those illusive Bonus Races

Newmarket takes a breather now until the Cambridgeshire meeting starts on 25th September. Can’t wait to be back on the Rowley Mile again, as much as I love the July Course the Rowley Mile is the place to find the future winners for next season. :good: .it’s like the partying is over let’s get some serious horses in our notebooks :yahoo:

Best of luck and back at the end of September for another update..Jac :rose: x

Hello to everyone I hope that you are all OK and well.

Thank You Jaci for the update on my score in the Godolphin competition
I still have 2 swaps left and like you say the lack of Bonus Races has
affected my total score. Only one all season. :negative:

The news on the two Guineas winners is not good so it looks like the 2 Year Old’s are going to be important.

Many Thanks once again :good: :bye:

Darren. Best of luck at Sandown on Saturday..take a brolly and enjoy the Meeting. We really need that rain but it could make it tricky regarding choices if the ground conditions change so I will wait until nearer the time before I have a bet..Wish you all the luck with Kalpana the following week at Kempton. :rose: Jac

Nice to hear from you John and hope you have been enjoying the lovely summer we have had this year although our trees in the garden really need the rain that is forecast this week.🌲🌳🍂🍁

What a concerning article from Charlie Appleby that both Ruling Court and Desert Flower have underperformed since storming home in the Guineas earlier in the year. He has many talented 2yo’s waiting in the wings and I’m particularly looking forward to seeing Dance To The Music run again. She goes in the Rockfel at Newmarket back on the Rowley Mile at the Cambridgeshire Meeting end of next month. :rose:

Good luck with your Godolphin Stable :good: With both Andre & Graham sitting on 3 swaps we will have to be careful as we only have 2 swaps left and still Champions Day and Breeders Cup to come..I did resist swapping back in Cinderella’s Dream at the weekend. She ran badly in France behind the exciting filly Venetian Sun. Karl Burke has an exciting filly on his hands.✨️

Hoping for a few more Bonus Races to give our scores a bit of a boost but more chance of seeing pigs flying over Moulton Paddocks at Newmarket. .all good wishes John.. :rose:

Louise has just backed 80/1 winner
Into The Sky ridden by Kieran Shoemark at Newbury 4.48 today ..who has just annihilated the field..😂😅🫣
    She got 90/1.

Louise now upgrading her camera which is going to be fantastic for her as she is booked as photographer at a friends Wedding in March next year. :rose:

    Kieran Shoemark is fast becoming
no. 1 go to Jockey for Louise after she backed Qirat last Month. :good:
    Jac

    Ps.
I did post her winning slip but I’ve taken it down in respect of the loss of Ruling Court..can’t celebrate under those circumstances.
