What a relief. I’ve been checking here every few hours to see if there’s any news. Isn’t it awful not being able to contact people on the internet. I’m in a complete state becauseI’ve been locked out of my Facebook page ( only my iPad but thankfully not on my computer, but that’s no help if I’m away from home). As I’m rather housebound these days the internet and my internet chums are my world. I wasn’t going to give up till I didn’t hear from you on Melbourne Cup night Graham! Phew.x
May 8, 2025 at 02:53 #1729746Nathan, Sam, Jac, Nick, Moe, Andre, John, my good golfing buddy Darren, and that
Poet Laureate (one day) Sporting Sam. You guys are the rocks that make this Meydan
thread be something you will never find in any other forum, ANYWHERE!. There are
others, who pop in on here, just to show they are still thinking about us. I’m just
responding to the recent posts, after sleeping most of the day, but I know how many
others who have wished me well, and I believe today that the love (if that’s not too
sloppy), that’s in here actually makes me feel physically and mentally more up to the
challenges that are thrown at us all. I even had a glass of wine, I thought, okay I’m
not supposed to but this feels like a day I wondered if I’d see again, but I’ve made
it and I’ll try my very best not to have you all anxious and without knowing what was
happening again. You all kept the faith and God willing Moe The 2 of us will be in here at 4am
on 4th November listening to the Ozzie chat and then the race that you’ve just
got to love .It feels a bit like coming home. God bless you Jac for creating a refuge for anyone
that needs it, and a place to laugh and talk of families and tell stories, not to
mention the huge amount of genuine knowledge, and love, about horses.Even my good friend Bobby was the first to note my name in the online users before I
had even written a word. But then he is so good at what he does, he’s in the right
profession and the right man to have his finger on the pulse in this forum.Good to be back, I wish you all health and happiness.

Edit. Believe it or not I started that post in the afternoon, and got back to
it several times, between naps. I know it was 12 hours ago as Bobby’s PM pinged
up 30 secs after I logged in. He doesn’t miss a thing that man
May 8, 2025 at 09:12 #1729754The biggest winner Theracingforum has ever had, having you back Big man.
Value Is EverythingMay 8, 2025 at 12:15 #1729761Jeez Ginger, you nearly had me sniffling there. What a lovely thing to say.
I missed your posts too Mark and look forward to many more
May 8, 2025 at 16:07 #1729789Does sound a bit sensitive for me, BigG.
Make the most of it.
I might have to delete in order to maintain my image.

May 8, 2025 at 17:53 #1729803Hello to everyone – the news about BigG is the best possible
that we could have received. Welcome back Graham. On the Godolphin competition front I missed Good Cheer but did
manage to find the other three of the Classic winning horses
plus 2 other scoring horses giving me a total of 2100 Points &
a Rank of 395. I would have done slightly better had they not
changed the starting date from Thursday May 1st to Friday May 2nd.
Sadly no sign yet of a Bonus Race for this week.
I hope
that this is not a foretaste of things to come. All the best for now.
May 8, 2025 at 19:25 #1729812Many thanks John, it feels good to be back

Oh Ginge, Nathan has nicked in and nabbed a screenshot
of your post. I think he could be bringing it in whenever
you’ve got your tough side fighting your corner
Never mind, it did have me feeling quite wanted and I’m
grateful for it anyway (even if I have a chuckle when he
brings it out)May 9, 2025 at 11:42 #1729848Hello Big G I haven’t been about much but could sense the tension and worry on this thread over your enforced absence whenever I was browsing.
That you are much loved 🥰 around these parts is never ever in doubt.
It’s always lovely to converse with you and naturally the content matter would often stray over “talking shop” about each other’s careers. I have dropped you a line about a pub in Ipswich called the Black Horse which again ties things in nicely! Like everyone else I join in this huge collective sigh of relief on your return!
Best wishes

( sporting Sam)May 9, 2025 at 16:41 #1729880Welcome back Graham!
You gave all of us a real scare there mate. I’m glad your doctor didn’t give up on you and that you’re back with us! Made my day to see your post.May 9, 2025 at 18:29 #1729886See how much we missed you Graham.

I think you made all our days seeing your name pop up on the Thread again after all those weeks
.
I’ve never seen Ginge so emotional but have to agree with him 100% and have to add it felt like all our numbers had come up in the lottery.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 9, 2025 at 19:43 #1729894any fancies for tomorrow Jac (or Sunday over in France)?
May 9, 2025 at 23:02 #1729910Back to the business of finding winners Nick….
Very obvious fancy for the 1st at Ascot ….
1.30 Ascot – Military Code – WIN
Saw him win his maiden on Nell Gwyn Day at Newmarket and he looks extremely useful going forward ..
3.50 Ascot – Kokanee
Will Buick rides for Ed Dunlop here.
Lightening Mann ran 3rd to this horse last time and we saw him win the last at Newmarket on 1000 Guineas Day for Mick Channon..must have a squeak 🐁.Also like..
3 55 Haydock- Kikkuli 2/1 – WIN
By Kingman out of Frankel’s mum Kind ❤️
Think he will will make up as a nice 4yo this season.
Prices not brilliant value but shoukd make a nice littke Trixie if Kikkuli stays around 2/1.
Best of luck Nick..Jac
