He’ll certainly give a good account of himself Nick and the weather seems set fair for Goodwood.
Enjoy a great 5 days racing.Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...July 30, 2024 at 16:00 #1703281betting was the give away Jac backed into 9/4 overnight out to 5s
July 30, 2024 at 16:10 #1703283Yes such a disappointing run Nick, but I did back Aomori City 9/4 in the 2.25 who won going away, so clinging on at the the moment.
I have Equilateral EW at 14’s in the 4.10 with PP paying 4 places..
Any for tomorrow or later today Nick?

July 31, 2024 at 09:47 #1703347well done with Aomori City, i am normally quite on the betting front at Goodwood , but i am sure can pop on with a few losers during the week
July 31, 2024 at 17:04 #1703433Nick … Notable Speech was my Nap in the Goodwood competition today..couldn’t believe a 2000 Guineas winner went off at 3/1
.
Andre still a way to go..keep the faith.

Hope all is well and keep giving the books grief
July 31, 2024 at 23:45 #1703467Thanks Nick I knew he was a better horse than his last run.
Elmalka the 1000 Guineas winner turns out tomorrow so hoping she can complete the double, but the one I have my eye on to do a complete turn around is
See The Firelove her to bits and I just know she has a big race in her.
It’s been an enjoyable Goodwood so far hope you get a few winners tomorrow Nick and that Andre’s luck turns around on the 3rd day.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 2, 2024 at 01:53 #1703629Stop encouraging Andre Jac, he’ll rattle through the next 2 days and leave
us in his wakeAugust 2, 2024 at 08:13 #1703640LOL Graham….never a true word..etc
We all have a mountain to climb today to catch Hot Fuss he really deserves to win but we’re all such a competitive bunch that he’ll have to watch his back today.
Friday looks the toughest of the lot so far and I’ve a feeling a few big prices are going to turn up, but who???Believing – 3.35 is my Nap and I truly do believe that she can continue to improve on her previous win. Lead Artist – 2.25 is my other big hope today he does have a brilliant turn of foot and Goodwood could bring out the best in him.
You’re doing a great job with the competition Graham and I’ll say it here quietly so Mrs Raymo doesn’t hear…
your columns are exquisite
. Glad to see your still on the podium and hope to join you later this evening…oh but hang on a minute I just saw a couple of piggys flying over….lol…Jac

perotto in the third
Good luck to you all
August 2, 2024 at 13:30 #1703683just an update (sorry to bore some) Jac cannot believe somehow they have given Georgie a starting mark of 68, was thinking along the lines of 61. Two year old handicapper off my christmas list
August 2, 2024 at 14:32 #1703696They must think he has potential Nick or they’re totally bonkers
I think the latter seems to suit.
Lead Artist all the way in the 2.25
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 2, 2024 at 14:47 #1703701Thanks for the encouragement Jac – I somehow don’t think it’s going to happen though. Don’t worry Graham – my lucky pin is not working this week. I’m battling for the wooden spoon. Two more “also rans” to start the day. Not sure why I never seem to do well at Goodwood. It’s a lovely course, but….
A lovely winner for you with Lead Artist! Well done
Good Luck with all your bests and comp picks today!
Take Care Everyone!
PS – Any update on your upcoming surgery Graham?
