Delighted that you had a fabulous win with Rebels Romance Jac, even more so
as you were watching it with Louise. It must have given her a happy moment
which I know she could do with just now. The whole forum is thinking about
Louise and hoping it is not too long before she gets through this rough
patch. You can tell her that many of us have been there before and we feel
deeply for her. She’ll get there, she is a fighter like her mum. :rose:

Thank you Graham for those kind words and thinking of you and Marjorie also and hope you are feeling stronger every day.

Must admit Rebel’s Romance is now mine and Louise’s no.1 Godolphin favourite horse and still can’t believe he went off at 28/1..a Breeders Cup Turf and multiple Group 1 winner it was a crazy price.

So nice that the flat racing is coming back and looking forward to being back at my second home Newmarket in a couple of weeks and hoping when Louise gets better we can enjoy a few days together there. She’s a dab hand at picking big price winners and has got me out of trouble a few times with her canny eye namely Dashing Roger 22/1 and Big Bear Hugs 25/1 at the final meeting last year. She’s great company and I miss her wicked sense of humour but can see a gradual improvement even now even after a few days and that’s all we can ask for. :rose:
Once again thank you Graham and everyone on here. With all your love and good wishes we’ll get there. Jac x

Appreciate it ran a really good race considering he was coming back from injury,
Willie Mullins before the race said he was well but he hoped this would get him
ready for Punchestown. I think he got whay he wanted. One to watch at Punchestown :mail:

Finally settled on one for the Irish Brand National

A great day’s racing and a very satisfactory one for me.
I’ll leave it at that and miss out on the last 2 races.
I hope that some of you were on a winner or 2.

I know you’ll be otherwise engaged Jac. I hope if Louise
if she watched the Irish Grand National she might have caught
the winner or yourself or one that ended in the 1st 6. My very
best wishes to Louise in her recovery :rose:

So pleased to read your posts and see that you had the most fantastic day yesterday Graham, you so deserved that. :yahoo: 😀 Sorry not to have been able to join in.

We had a really nice day with family and spoke with Louise too who seems a little better but way to go yet. We didn’t get a chance to look at the racing so much going on but I’ll try and catch up today and also update the Godolphin scores for our compy. :good:

Just to let you know Andre …Wilson is off to be ‘gelded’ today .. ouch  poor boy has to wear a collar for a week and he won’t be liking that.
Hopefully it won’t be for long.

    Take care..Jac :bye:

Just about to take the dog for a walk. She hasn’t had much walking for several weeks due to a nail bed infection. In nearly 50 years of dog ownership I’ve never come upon a foot infection so I’ve been very careful with her for ages; no idea what caused it. The grandchildren are here at the moment and I’m constantly having to check the house for chocolate. For some reason they thought hiding their eater egg hunt chocolate under a coffee table would prevent the dog from finding it.Having just spent a few hundred pounds on antibiotics etc the last thing I want is to rush the dog to the vets with chocolate toxicity. At least we didn’t have a power cut when the racing from Ireland was on. Might consider going to Kelso on Saturday if it escapes the weather although we haven’t got early bird tickets for it.

What a great day of bookie bashing Graham! :yahoo: Good job mate. Hope you’re feeling better.

I’m glad you’re seeing some small signs of improvement in Louise, Jac. Small steps, day by day…. :rose: Oh no – poor Wilson!! He won’t be happy with his “cone of shame” poor boy. Hopefully he’ll be recover quickly and you’ll be able to take him to see Louise.

Hope your dog is doing okay Moe. I got a good laugh out of your grand-kids hiding chocolate under the coffee table so the dog wouldn’t find it!

Thank you for your kind wishes for my daughter Mick (BCK) not prying at all your good wishes really areappreciated.. :good:
Louise had a little setback this morning but things are back on the right tracks..it is going to take some time a real worry but at least I have all on here rooting for her speedy return to good health. :rose:

Moe your doggy story made me laugh.😃
Grandkids are great to have around aren’t they.? Hope you get to Kelso on Saturday.🏇🏇

    Andre .. Wilson isn’t wearing a
Cone as he’s got such a big head he would be swiping all the cups of the coffee table with it
 anyway son Chris has purchased him a sort of a doggy onesie that slips on and buttons up at the back to protect his tender parts..I haven’t seen a picture of him wearing it yet but if you’ve ever seen Chase in Paw Patrol it’s very similar to what he wears …I can’t wait to see a photo of him with it on. 🙂

    Take care :rose:

Winnie had a special suit when she was spayed. I got used to undoing it when she needed a wee. They’re handy to have if they have to have any other sort of operation. Whippets get used to dressing up. Not only does she have an even thinner coat than most whippets but she gets a form of alopecia in the winter so has no end of coats and vests to keep her warm. I’d like to get her a dinosaur suit: I think the kids would love that! Her foot is ok now. So much so that she did one of her whippet spin around things on the beach and crashed into my bad knee. She does it every time my knee is feeling ok…

Your little Winnie sounds like she has a wardrobe of outfits for all seasons Moe..bet she’d look really smart in a Dinosaur outfit. Probably best to wear knee pads next time you take her walking on the beach though. :rose: Jac

Well done Jac and thanks for keeping us updated with scores. I wonder if they will run the general competition this year. It was a bit underwhelming last year with Godolphin horses doing relatively poorly.
