Yes we did well between us yesterday Graham ..I had a tenner on the nose on Kodias Sangarius (sounds like a character from Up Pompei🤣) and that’s what he won by…phew glad Paddy Power gave me best odds as he was 13/2 when I backed him.
In reverse to you I should have napped him in the 4PP but I was looking for a big price winner which in the end he was as 12/1 pays the same as 20/1 on the 4PP. Just happy he won. :good:

Glad to hear that Marjorie got a good nights sleep at last..that was one of the problems when I had broken ribs finding a good sleeping position..wish her well. :rose:

    @John

Sorry John I completely missed your post way up there.. so much has been going on and thank you for your good wishes for my husband Dave.

I can imagine lots of people like yourself were low on points this week as you really needed a crystal ball to know who was running, but as the weeks go by we can have a peak at the decs before we change our Stables again.

I will update our TRF Fantasy Team leaderboard by tomorrow and looking forward to next Friday’s action.

Enjoy the racing today I havent really had time to look yet so just popping over to Racing Post to catch up..

    Take care..Jac :bye: x

I’m with you Jac, I’m a fan of Bristol De Mai too and I think
the ground is perfect for him. Whether he acts round Lingfield
is a big question mark, but none of them have run here before
so no reason to ignore him for that. He might get taken on by
Dashel Drasher who can go from the front, but whether he’ll get
2m6f on heavy ground I’m not so sure. I think he’s good price :good:

It’s already been a good day, our very own Dazzler had the winner
in the Golf this morning at 35/1 and I had the runner up at
80/1 E/W (all in Darrens Sports Thread) so it’s turned into a
cracking weekend. It could get even better for me if Harry
Higgs were to win The American Express tonight, he’s 3 off
the lead going into the last round, I’ve got him twice at
100/1. A place would do :good:

Turned on the racing to watch BDM – and turned it off again after Mr Tommy Tucker fell at the last. How terribly sad – racing can be so cruel, so many highs and so many heart-wrenching lows. 😥 😥 😥

It was sickening Andre. I was getting excited, I thought BDM was going to catch them going
to the last, but when Tommy Tucker fell it was obvious what happened, the finish didn’t matter.
It is a tough sport at times 😥

    Hi there all.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Battleoverdoyen who took a crashing fall at the last fence over in Ireland.

Well done on the golf Big G and Darren. Tennis going well.

I made a promise not to watch that race until after it had run as I get the jitters when BDM is running ..now I never will watch it..what a dreadfully sad end for a beautiful horse. I find it hard to cope with just watching them jump you know they are just a blink away from a crashing fall. I’m sure that nobody was celebrating after that. 😥 💔

Sam I really hope Battleoverdoyen is ok after his fall, love that little horse. :rose:

Now it looks like Alan King has lost dear old Warrior’s Tale. 13 years old it’s unbearably sad news.

Rest easy old soldier ..Trevor Hemmings has another favourite son by his side tonight. 😥

The 2 incidents have taken any gloss off the day Jac, even although we
know it can happen going over the jumps, it doesn’t make it any easier 😥

    Morning.
I’ve had a few nice winners this last year on the turf and all weather through the tweets of mark Usher.
He runs MAYKON and MEISTERSINGER at Southwell.
Maykon has been running at the wrong trip since joining from mark Johnston and drops back to 5f finally in the first.
He won his maiden of a mark of 95 two years ago.He goes in the first race.
Runs off 43 here 52 pounds to the good.
I know it doesn’t work out like that in real life but this horse has a chance on juvenile form.

Meisterzinger came from sir mark Prescott and won first time out at Chelmsford at a massive price.
    He goes in the 2.30
Each way singles and an each way double for me at small stakes using the big odds.
What I like about this yard is that they are very open and always trying.

Hi Sam, I thought Maykon was looking like he was going to get a place mid race,
but just faded a bit late on. He would be interesting if dropped down even
further. I’d say 5 or 6f is as far as I’d like to see him go.

Maybe better luck with Meisterzinger, he won that Chelsford race really well.
Upped 4lbs and ran a good 3rd next time. Last 2 weren’t so good but was
allowed to coast in last furlong when chance was gone, he also had a bump
with a horse 3 out last time. 18/1 or 25/1 5 places with Skybet seems a
    reasonable bet

    Cheers, good luck :good:

FRIDAY 21St JANUARY – LEADERBOARD – GODOLPHIN FANTASY LEAGUE TRF TEAM

    306th – 1160 Points – BIG G
    416th – 1080 Points – Triptych
    666th – 810 Points – John Gooch
    810th – 720 Points – Tonge
    950th – 640 Points – Euroalien

    Steve75 ?

BigG heads the Leaderboard this week with 600 points scored in the 2nd week, same as myself but I’m lagging behind Graham by 80 points in 2nd position.

Not many points scored but Godolphin had a good day with their runners who apart from Naval Crown ran in lower grade races.
Big disappointment was Albahr who failed to score in the UAE Derby Trial but Dubai Icon winnet of the last was very impressive. :good:

Think this weeks play will be much the same unless we have a crystal ball hidden under our beds..good luck. Long way to go yet. Jac 🙂 x
