A fantastic pick from Graham again with ROK
This Make Believe seems to be quite a good stallion
July 9, 2020 at 14:54 #1493341Well done BigG
July 9, 2020 at 15:02 #1493346Thanks Hein and Nick, I was glad to see her price falling as the Johnston stable
always have a punt when they think they have a winning chance. I was worried for a
minute when they came at her, but she picked up beautifully. The extra distance has
brought out a lot of improvement in her. I’m hoping even more now that Troubador wins
now, I’ve got a good bet on him, but I stuck 20 quid E/W on the 2 so that would be a
nice little earner
July 9, 2020 at 15:05 #1493347Great punting from Jac and Nathan too
I hope my Alounak wins, so that I get back to form for the German derby meeting
July 9, 2020 at 15:11 #1493350Well done Graham what a fantastic price she was for you .. I’ve had some fantastic wins with her in the past but had to do Dubai Love today.
Looking at the weather Grahsm quite glad I’m not there today.☔☔ Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...July 9, 2020 at 15:23 #1493353Thanks Jac, yes you’re better off with your feet up keeping dry today, you’ll get back to
the course soon I’m sure. I didn’t realise there was a thread for the Musidoro in the
Big Races – Discussion forum or i would have put her up on that. I’m not going to mention
it there now as it would feel like after timing and I’m glad I put her up here. Fingers
crossed for my double.Well done Jac and Nathan with your earlier choices, and best of luck with Alounak Hein
July 9, 2020 at 15:27 #1493355Brilliant pick with Kildare of Rose, BigG
Has anyone seen who tipped a 100/1 winner today.?

I think that Desert Encounter was out of his depth last time out in the Coronation Cup,
but he’ll be more at home in this and the 14s has made me have a few quid on. I’ve already
had a good day so I’d be happy enough to see Alounak come roaring home for Hein
July 9, 2020 at 16:20 #1493363Thank you Graham, but not the slightest chance in the end
July 9, 2020 at 16:38 #1493365Desert Encounter ran a great finish Graham sadly only 2 places.
Holly Doyle stole it from Communique but I got a couple of winners and a few places today so looking forward to tomorrow. It’s been fantastic racing shame about the weather.
Alounak looked incredible Hein but was soon beaten.
John Gosden very honest about Enbihaar not going on the ground.
Looking forward to The Falmouth tomorrow. Not a big price but like Terrebellum with an small EW Magic Wand who may not like the going.
Best of luck.
Jac

, 2 furlongs out he looked wonderful, but then the magic was soon gone
I will probably never learn to play at your fave track
But at least I’m hopeful for Hamburg
July 9, 2020 at 17:02 #1493369That was bad luck Hein, it just wasn’t his day, good luck with him in Hamberg

I’ve yet to watch the re-run Jac, and I’m a fan of Atzeni, but what was he playing
at at the finish. I thought with 1f to go when he was travelling nicely behind the
leaders that he might just win. He had several gaps to go through, but as each one
opened he pulled DE to his left until eventually he was against the rail. It must
have cost him a few lengths and had he taken one of them I think he would have been
2nd at worst. I went back in and took the 22s e/w as I thought that was way too big,
even though only 2 places. I’ll watch it back to see if I’m being harsh, but my
impression was, and I’m not a jockey moaner, that he should have done better
July 9, 2020 at 17:02 #1493370
come back and play tomorrow while your waiting for Hamburg Hein.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...July 9, 2020 at 17:43 #1493377Thank you, my old friends
Graham, I didn’t mean Alounak is running at Hamburg, won’t happen, tommorrow just starts our derby meeting there and I’m looking for chances!
Similarly to your Haydock the ground there is sucking up every drop of rain, so I “just” have to find some real stayers..
Jac, my only fancy at your track would be Dandalla, but she is obviously under pressure even now, as the Burke form is a big turn-off
So I will better go rowing tomorrow afternoon, only thing to happen is that we cuold catch some drops of rain
By the way Graham, I am indeed sometimes a jockey moaner
, and I have the slight impression AA is not top class anymore
July 9, 2020 at 18:12 #1493380Hello Hein a question for you any views on german derby this week saw in RP few days ago expect WONDERFUL MOON to win and trainer feels he become a horse for Arc what your views
And guys any views on SEVENTH KINGDOM on saturday at Newmarket.
July 9, 2020 at 18:58 #1493385Hi Darren, thanks for your interest in our derby
As I already wrote to Botchy, I’m anything but a fan of WM, as he doesn’t even look healthy, let alone good
. Moreover his dam side doesn’t provide too much stamina, which will play a big role, as we will get some quite soft ground down in Hamburg. Formwise his dominance was fading, as last time out he only won “workman-style”. And not to mention that we got a mad field of 19 runners, so anything could probably happen. But that’s not to say he has no winning chance, cos my recent form is not too good
I only will play a mild place bet on Grocer Jack with little Italian Marco Casamento on board
And about the Arc: I would definitely say Mr Grewe takes his mouth a bit full here, they would max reach second last
July 9, 2020 at 19:39 #1493390Hello to all of you,

https://www.attheraces.com/news/2020/July/09/quorto-sustains-fatal-gallops-injurySadly sometimes these things happen.
