Unlucky Nathan let’s hope Meydan will be kinder to us tomorrow. The second race seems the most interesting based on what we might have learnt over the past month. :good:

    MEYDAN .. THURSDAY 3rd Dec6ember
    3.05 .. 1m2f dirt
ZERO TO A HUNDRED .. 6/4 WIN ..Price boost
    ZABARDAST .. 11/2 ..EW .. Price boost

Drawn 1 and 2 I think we are going to see these two finish up front so have done the rev .forecast with a win on ZTAH and EW Zaberdast. :good:

    3.40 .. 1m .. dirt
    ONE VISION .. 10/1 .. EW
    PHILOSPHER .. 11/1 .. EW

One Vision originally trained by Charlie Appleby could be the class act here if things go his way but Philospher will be hard to beat if he can get away smartly. 2 weeks ago here over 1m2f he was again slow to start but made up ground to lead 2 furlongs from home before weakening dramatically.
This 1 mile distance should suit him better. :good:

Think I’ll just stick to these two races at the moment and look forward to all your thoughts.. :good: Jac

Awww Nathan, I watched your race with Premier Power, led the
field everywhere except right on the line. I hate when that
    happens :-(

I’ve got a couple to stick on at Meydan today.

    2.30 Flamewood 33/1 E/W Bet364

Most Of those that have already shown their hand I’m not overly
impressed. Of those that haven’t, I like the look of Flamewood
who’s well bred by Medaglia d’Oro who was very useful on the dirt.
It’s a big field so he needs to get well away, but from stall 1
I think he’s got a chance at decent odds.

    3.05 Bladesmith 16/1 E/W Bet365

There’s no doubting the chances of Zero To A Hundred, he could be
the answer to this, but I’m going to take a chance that Bladesmith
could at least be in the mix at the end. He’s obviously been showing
something at home as he went of favourite last time after a mediocre
run previously. He’s nicely bred by Mastercraftsman with the dam being
by Singspiel. He has had the habit of being a bit slow out of the blocks,
but runs on so this extra couple of furlongs could be exactly what he’s
    looking for.

I’ll see how I get on with these 2, and take it from there. Best of
luck with your bets today Jac, some very sound chances there :good:

A combination of lowest drawn top rated (112)
Should see this track specialist go close here. Has several lengths to find with one rival on the head to heads but that was back in jan 19 and ratings have gone in opposite directions since.

Some sporting choices there at Meydan Graham will watch those with interest and wish you all the luck. :good:

Really is the last chance saloon for Zabardast if he can’t win from a favoured draw but I’ve a feeling we’re going to see Zero To A Hundred live up to his name today. :rose:

Sam I like the look of your selection in the 4.15 Bochart very much and if I have some money left in the coffers after the earlier races will have a few pennies on himself. :good: good luck.

Hello stranger :bye: good to have you back..
Meydan Carnival starts first Thursday in 2021 so not long to wait now…thinking caps on.

One Vision is the horse I”m very excited about seeing today in the 3.40. If Philospher is slowly away he could win but have backed them both and hoping the Rev.forecast comes up here so.. fingers crossed for a flying start.. :bye: Jac

IRREGULAR HEARTBEAT is worth a mention in the next race at clomel…. 1.30
It is a “maiden” hurdle where the conditions are horses must not have won or been placed in a race under rules , minimum of three rides.
This horse has done the minimum three rides but has also run in two points… winning one and runner up in the other. It is a big price and may go well.
The three rules races, in one pulled up after being prominent the other two showed up well against good opposition.

Good Luck with all your Meydan bets. I’d love to see a little bookie bashing

Hey Darren – some good horses on your list for the weekend.

Keep an eye on Darlac in the 2:15 Winc – His last two races over fences have been good efforts. He was beaten less than 2 lengths by a horse rated 13lbs higher than him. He should be right there at the finish (hopefully). His stablemate, Carrick Roads, could be the biggest danger. A Tizzard 1-2???

    Stay Safe Everyone

Well done with Darlac Andre :yahoo: very nicely priced st 7/2.. hope you got on. :good:

And Sam ..your Irregular Heartbeat ran out of puff at the last but held on for 3rd at a very nice EW price of 25/1.
    . :good:

Still scratching our heads trying to find a winner at Meydan  but my drawn no higher than 5 theory is alive and kicking..just choosing the wrong horses..

Think we can rule Zaberdast out of any future bets..lets hope my One Vision and Philospher or Bladesmith for Graham pull it back in the next..

Well done Andre with Darlac, that’s a very nice winner at 7/2 :good:

My first pick today, Flamewood, missed the break from stall 1, he was
plumb last on the inside after 100 yards and that was that. At least there
was a chink of light with Bladesmith, who ran a good race in 2nd e/w at 16s,
but what about that Kanood at 40/1. How on earth was he 40s when they must
have known at home he was going well, he won like a good thing. He’s definitely
one to keep an eye on, but he wont be 40s next time

I didn’t see One Vision’s race Jac, and there’s no video replays so I don’t
know how he went, but I would have fancied his chances after his last improved
run. It’s been a hard racecourse to pick winners on so far, I think it will pick
up when the standard is upped for the Carnival :good:

afternoon everyone, cant wait till the Meydan grass stuff starts in early January
Move been a pain in the backside Jac, all parties agreed sale etc (moving to little village Bishops Cleeve about 2.5 miles from course) but lawyers etc holding things up blaming covid. Hopeful completion date around 15th January.
Anyway will be ready for start of the new flat season and hopefully we can soon get on with a normal life and get back to see our heros in the flesh.

    Stay safe everyone

    Thanks Triptych
It took quite a bit of reading up to dig that one out but it certainly had a decent advantage over most if not all of the others. I was lucky enough to get 33/1 each way. I got an irregular heartbeat straining to hear if it had got third place.
    In the 525
Looks an interesting type but a high draw to deal with.
$510000 yearling. Just interested to see how it goes on debut stable sent out a good newcomer to win last meeting.
    It’s Chelmsford for me tonight!
