More than welcome Graham
The form you are in this year it all came down to choices in the end.
Just being there was a great achievement and of course we all get the chance to do it again next year. JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...September 28, 2020 at 09:33 #1503727
Early start and off to Chantilly this morning to try to turn the luck around.
Had to take SP as Paddy had no early morning prices up.
10.25 .. ENEMY .. WIN
This race isn’t highlighted on RP Cards but an interesting runner in Enemy who has just left the stables of John Gosden. Only caught this as he was in my Sporting Life Stable and the notified my last night. Will be interesting to see how he fairs here.
10.55 .. ROYAL ADDRESS .. WIN
William Haggas sends his useful Dandy Man filly (out of a Sharmadal mare) across the Channel to gain herself some black type in the sprint.
11.55 .. MAKALOUN (WIN) & MAGNA MATER (EW) .. Reverse Forecast
Both of these deserve respect but wouldn’t be surprised to see Magna Mater (Godolphin) bounce back after a slow start in a Group 2 at Deauville last time out (beautifully bred by Zoffany out of a Galileo mare )
Fingers well and truly crossed here.

Just clocked the french race to go off in a few mins,
11.55 Shut The Box 9/1 Bet365
Makaloun looks the likliest winner, but STB wasn’t that far behind him last time
out and with Pierre-Charles Boudot on him, that’s got to be worth a length at
leastSeptember 28, 2020 at 11:57 #1503735
Nice one with Royal Address JacSeptember 28, 2020 at 12:03 #1503736
Nice double Jac
Right I’m off, carpet man coming for last measure upSeptember 28, 2020 at 13:17 #1503739
Just a small profit with 2 x winners and the combi double coming off.
That’s my all for today.
Awful conditions at Chantilly let’s hope Deauville drys out before the Arc.
I love having new carpet fitted ..hope it all goes well Graham.Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...September 28, 2020 at 21:01 #1503813nwaltonParticipant

Will catch up later with weekends racing in mind, got a viewer for our place tomorrow so just doing a bit of cleaningSeptember 29, 2020 at 00:20 #1503830
Good luck with your viewer tomorrow Nick
Not much horsey action tomorrow so I’ve put a couple of bets on saturday’s
11/2 Peaceful (price boost)
14/1 Feliciana De Vega (EW)
Now just have to hope they run.
Looking forward to the big weekend. JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...September 29, 2020 at 08:35 #1503851
I wasn’t going to have a bet today, but I think he’s of enough interest and this
gives him a chance to get back to winning ways.
3.15 Ayr Get Knotted 17/2 William Hill
He didn’t start well last time out in the Ayr Silver Cup and found traffic
problems when trying to make ground. He shouldn’t have those problems
today with 9 runners and his mark has fallen in the four races he’s run
since winning in this last year back to the same mark. He should have
every chance todaySeptember 29, 2020 at 15:41 #1503913
Pretty much knew before the off, with a drift out to 18/1, that all was not well.
Not sure why they ran him today when there was no confidence. Disappointing.September 29, 2020 at 17:30 #1503925darren83Participant

Sorry about Get Knotted Graham I noticed the drift and feared the worst for him.
It’s a funny old time of year when the form seems to take a turn around and the horses start to grow their winter coats always a negative if you get the chance to get up close and see them.
Looking forward to the weekend and lots of quality runners for us to sort through. JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...September 30, 2020 at 15:04 #1504020
7.00 Kempton – Mandarin 14/1 Boylesports
I had this flagged up to me a couple of days ago on my tracker. The reason I had decided
to track it was after seeing him run in a class 2 handicap at Sandown last month. He was
travelling really well, he was the last off the bridle, but ran into trouble late on. Hollie
Doyle, no fault of her own, went for a run up the rail and I thought he looked like the winner
before the leader cut her off and she had to snatch him up. He finished 7th. He’s had 2 runs
since which admittedly weren’t overly encouraging, he certainly wasn’t given a hard time, and
as a result he’s fallen down the handicap to his last winning mark at Newmarket last year. I
should have put this up earlier as he’s come in a good bit, but the 9/1 at Bet365 is still decent
value. I’ve got him on the nose.September 30, 2020 at 15:44 #1504027
Just came on here to put up a bet for tonight Graham and amazingly we are in tbe same race..
Summit Reach .. 7/2 Win
He seems to be going the right way and goes on the ground. Rossa Ryan on board.
He’s been on my list for a while but reading about your Mandarin I’ve put him in a reverse forecast.
Best of luck Graham.Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...September 30, 2020 at 19:09 #1504251
