    Well that’s it. On to Sydney, apparently.

    Quite a few horses have ended up missing the Autumn, but I suppose that happens every year? Latest was Shocking, who has perhaps has the distinction of being scratched from the final field TWICE for the Australian Cup.

    , which I’d have thought would have been a popular win for the horse, if not the trainer. A rather interesting hattrick of wins this week by older horses who ran in the Melbourne Cup. Capecover Adelaide Cup, Zavite Auckland Cup, Zipping Australian Cup.

    The Crown Guineas was won by Bart’s

    Rock Classic

    , who was tipped elsewhere by Andy. I also tipped it, but I didn’t set the alarm properly, so no money was on.

    will come over for the King’s Stand. He will have a trial in headgear on May 22nd first.
