    Just seen the card for Tuesdays race.
    Is it significant that Fallon is not going over to ride either Manighar or Bauer for Luca Cumani i.e. is there something noteable that he is staying here to ride ?.

    Pat Smullen is riding for Dermot Weld, Dettori is riding for SBS, and Mosse is riding for Alain de Royer-Dupre.
    Interesting in my view, or am I reading too much into it ?.

    I doubt any jockey would be opting to ride one at Catterick or Nottingham rather than one in the Melbourne Cup. Maybe Cumani prefers jockeys with local knowledge, think you’re reading too much into it.

    think previously the trainer has used local jockeys…and i guess his record is quite good using this method.

    also whilst ont he subject; wasn’t Eastern Aria supposed to be running, for the boys in blue? was it balloted out, or injured? Dont recall reading anything about it in the press.

    Holberg only just sneaked in for them.
