    I read elsewhere that he was lost sadly when coming down at Carlisle the other day.

    I watched the race and he didn’t actually fall (although that’s the Racing Post result). He crashed through the fence and it was obvious he’d broken a leg … whether that happened on take-off or as a result of coming through the fence I don’t know but he stayed upright and tried to gallop on … very unpleasant. He was running and jumping very well. Sad end … so sorry for all who loved and cared for him.
