Langer Dan down to run at Sandown on Saturday
must be eyeing the bonusGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 8, 2022 at 18:17 #1586175Skelton has 8 entered so remains to be seen whether he runs
Must be doubtful they did say straight to the pipe was the plan after his prep run
March 8, 2022 at 18:36 #1586177Yeah that’s true
I think it would be a positive if he were to run at the weekendGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 8, 2022 at 19:05 #1586183It could only be a negative in my eyes
Having not run for a year then having 3 runs in no time at all would be far from ideal
March 8, 2022 at 20:10 #1586193Hoping he doesn’t run at the weekend as he would get a penalty for winning and then try to follow up quickly next week.
March 10, 2022 at 18:19 #1586387I was thinking it would be a positive as they would be super confident to run and win both
he’s not running at Sandown now anywhere so all system go for this. Seems half the forum is on him
coming on Langer DanGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 17, 2022 at 20:41 #1588319I have taken Langer Dan which is very unoriginal, but I have also taken Lanzarote winner Cobblers Dream at 16-1
March 17, 2022 at 20:55 #1588324Always worried about the Irish handicaap newcomers, but there hasn’t been the advantage for the Irish handicappers that there was last year.
157 Earlofthecotswolds
155 The Very Man
151 Herbiers
151 Lucky Max
150 Langer Dan
150 Hes A Hardy Bloke
149 DecimationOf these I like:
Earlofthecotswolds 50/1 – Progress through the early part of the season and kept ticking over on the all-weather. Drying ground will help.
Herbiers 50/1 – Progressive profile in the last year. Not yet proven at the trip but his November win over 19.5f at Doncaster was promising and hinted that longer distance wouldn’t be a problem. Another one favoured by drying ground.
Langer Dan 5/1 – Given a gentle warm up at Taunton and presumably aimed here from a long way out. Good second to a very talented winenr in this last year.
March 17, 2022 at 21:42 #1588331Just like Buckers I like Cobblers Dream for this. I think it was quite a strong Lanzarote this year. He might be open to further improvement at he is a nice price for this.

March 17, 2022 at 23:34 #1588357Happy that The Goffer goes, but as I said, won’t be my last.
Main fancy though is Herbiers. Been following him over a year now, and just really like him. Strange ride last time, not pushed about, and though I expected him at Aintree, can’t possibly leave him here. Really think he’s up to this.
Also with He’s A Hardy Bloke. Massive eyecatcher last time, and happy to have him on side, though kicking myself at missing the early prices.

The Goffer 33’s NRNBMarch 18, 2022 at 09:37 #1588399Langer Dan will probably skate in but I’ve had a few quid each way on Decimation at 40s. His second to Ashdale Bob at Fairyhouse last April looks good now as does his subsequent third at Punchestown, splitting Fastorslow and Winter Fog. His seasonal debut only came late last month and he wasn’t given too hard a time. That should have blown the cobwebs away.
March 18, 2022 at 09:43 #1588405Langer Dan out to 6/1 now. Looks like a gift if last year’s form holds up.
