Broke down badly in 3.05 at Tipperary. Looked like he broke his front leg. Staff need to use bigger screens as the poor horses body could be clearly seen as the rest of the field finished. Makes it look like there was no respect or dignity afforded to the horse. Just turned over to watch ATR and Samba Night pulled up in one race, then this a few minutes later. Pray Samba Night is OK. RIP Marlos Moment. Dont want to watch jump racing anymore.
October 22, 2012 at 19:02 #417896Looked horrible, because he didn’t get high enough before the hurdle and I think he broke the leg from just around the shoulder. He was dead though when they ran towards the line so I hope it was a quick death. But very tragic to see that kind of accident happen over this type of hurdles. Especially because they are so unforgiving. You can’t even brush through the top of them – so you better not touch them. In fact they could use a concrete wall instead, because once you hit it, the outcome is the same.
