Went for Mambonumberfive 12/1 EW. Lulamba should take all the beating, but at around 1/2 to 4/7 he makes no appeal to me.
April 9, 2026 at 14:00 #1762470It’s the same for me Ex Ruby, Mambonumberfive 12-1, but I’m win only
April 9, 2026 at 14:21 #1762475Skipped Cheltenham, Mambonumberfive 14-1.
The more I know the less I understand.
April 9, 2026 at 14:26 #1762478Ouch, Nico. Hope both are okay. Well done winners.
April 9, 2026 at 14:26 #1762479When will De Boinville do us all a favour and just retire FFS.
Guy was terrible at every point of that race before the very soft unseat. A more confident jockey would have taken it up when Cobden slowed things down to a crawl.
Shouldn’t be anywhere near classy horses nowadays. Ruined Constitution Hill also.April 9, 2026 at 14:29 #1762481Soft unseat. Why does Nico insist on riding with little room on a novice. Give the horse some room on the outer and he probably wins that.
April 9, 2026 at 14:30 #1762483Agree, GM. He’s always good for a bad jump or an unseat in a G1. I wonder how much longer the Donnelly’s will stick to him.
April 9, 2026 at 14:31 #1762484Mambo clearly not a stayer folded really quick.
I don’t think Lulamba is the greatest jumper in the world. The more I know the less I understand.
April 10, 2026 at 06:39 #1762623Agree with the comnents about De Boinville but in fairness I don’t believe Lulamba helped him much. He isn’t a good jumper.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he runs on the same card next year in the Aintree Hurdle.
