    Hello guys. :)

Does anybody have a copy of the book titled ‘The Solidus’ which they would be happy to sell to me.

I have searched everywhere for it and I just don’t seem to be able to get hold of it. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out.

    Thank you very much.

P.S. This is my first post and not really sure if I should have posted my request in this section.

    You might be able to get it sent to you as PDF files. One part of it appears available here;

A really interesting read. I’ve computerised, from cover to cover.
The problem is accurate data. As a result of rail movement and going descriptions, results can only be relied on in calibrated straight races and a/w. Solely, "The Solidus" contributed in my winning TRF Grade 1 Class 1 flat competition.
If you send me a private message with your address, I’ll send you a photo copy of this extremely rare and valuable gem.

    the list

more famous than the hanging gardens
much rarer than the seven glass skulls some
    emanating from the Aztec/Mayan civilizations.
Once in possession of it – just as deadly…

"It is said that when he willed death
with the help of the skull,
    death invariably followed.
The problem is there is little
    evidence to draw on as
    he used the skull frequently
and didn’t like those with big mouths
or the appearance of half a brain."

    Davey Towey’s Book ‘The Solidus’.

The Racing sense (SSR1) program was written under Davey’s direction. Many of you have asked if Davey’s 1993 book is still available. We’ve just managed to organise a reprint. Unfortunatly the binding is not a good as the original but the 100 pages with all the original charts, coloured graphs and pictures, are superb. The book thoroughly explains the original concepts and ideas in Davey’s own inimitable style. If you have a computer and are not very good at mathematics, the above program follows his method exactly. If you haven’t a computer or want to use his system on non-UK races, this is the book for you.

    The book is available

now for £15, Postage and Packing Free

The cynic in me wonders if at least one of the posters asking about this was Davey Towey himself on a cunning, covert, marketing drive.

“Genuine enquiry can’t locate the book anywhere”

I googled it out of curiosity and I couldn’t find a way to buy it either.

I did, however, find virtually identical questions about it.

Either the cynic in me is right, or it’s simply a much-sought-after book and over a number of years.
