Just watched it again and Havlin was the last jockey to start pushing his horse and when he did they just went further clear. Pace maker or not they won on merit.

while Shoemark was scrubbing along on Inspiral Robert Havlin was yet to ask any questions of Audience until Charyn started to make ground, it was a text book ride.As I said before Inspiral is a feisty mare if she’s not happy she let’s you know. After running at Newmarket last year I went round to the cooling off paddock to take some pictures of her.
A stable woman came up to her with a bucket of cooling water. Inspiral took an instant dislike to the bucket and headbutted it back towards the unsuspecting woman giving her a cooling down instead. 😅🤣😂 JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...
