“bad girl looks and feisty nature”
Sounds like a witch
John not happy because Witch Hunter will be deliberately dropped out the back and follow her through
trouble with Witch Hunter will be if he’s got enough stamina to catch the witchForecast

May 17, 2024 at 19:35 #1694639Lol..Nathan I’m with you on the Witch and the ‘Witcher’ for a fun reverse forecast hoping she”ll cast her spell over the field and fly home.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 17, 2024 at 19:54 #1694641Yep on wizard Johns broomstick..🧹

May 17, 2024 at 20:18 #1694643“Big Rock covered his first 6F of his mile quicker than the Champion Sprint which probably goes a long way to showing why not much ran their races in the QEII, they were being asked to go a very strong gallop which would have found a lot of them out irrespective of the ground and would also contribute to stringing them out, although the ground would have magnified that”
Indeed it was a breathtaking performance
Like a flat version of allaho he went so quick everything else was completely out of its comfort zone and was legless
You’d think Newbury should suit him better than ascot, it’s not easy to make all at ascot
Just a question of how far clear the jockeys on inspiral and charyn let him get clear
On gd ground inspiral will probably beat him, it’s just a question of how far forward she is
If she’s not on her A game, the pace big rock will set will expose her
I’m not sure the rest of them have the cruising speed/class to go his gallop
May 18, 2024 at 08:35 #1694681I’ve seen some saying Audience is in there as a spoiler which may well have been the plan but Audience isn’t even a Group 2 horse so whether he can actually lay up with Big Rock if he’s on his A Game is another matter entirely. It makes me laugh when you see connections trying this sort of thing without really thinking about the calibre of horse they are using to try and make the pace. Havlin’s on him as well so even if there is a plan I wouldn’t be remotely confident he’s the man to pull that off.
I thought yesterday Hi Royal was way overpriced relative to Royal Scotsman mainly but they have come a lot closer in price this morning, there was some 50’s in places yesterday which was just crazy for a horse who on raw ability placed in both 2000 Guineas, trouble is knowing what he’s actually going to do. At least we know he’s fit and well which we don’t know of Royal Scotsman, has to be a huge concern we didn’t see him after Royal Ascot.
Of the others don’t really understand Charyn’s price, an improving horse? Not sure. A well and fit horse certainly. His form this season doesn’t really amount to any more than his slightly unlucky run in the Irish 2000 Guineas behind Hi Royal and his runs behind Paddington in the Sussex and St James Palace Stakes.
I genuinely can’t see the case for many of the others. I think if this was a 7 runner race weirdly you’d see some of these at bigger odds than they are in a 10 runner race because there would only be 2 places and 2 hot favourites to fill them. Too much each way money has affected the win odds of some of these here.

May 18, 2024 at 13:59 #1694762Poker Face for me at 9-1
May 18, 2024 at 15:16 #1694806I have a soft spot for a pacemaker so I’ll put my ew buttons on Audience. I think he has some ability and has a reasonable chance of getting the mile, though if he gets my hopes up he’ll probably then hang all over the place
May 18, 2024 at 15:25 #1694814Can’t see anything beating Big Rock.
May 18, 2024 at 15:35 #1694820Are Big Rock and Audience going to just sprint from the gates?
The more I know the less I understand.
May 18, 2024 at 15:38 #1694823Wow
May 18, 2024 at 15:39 #1694825Well done Green they played a dangerous game.
The more I know the less I understand.
May 18, 2024 at 15:39 #1694826What an absolute farce of a race that was
They’ve absolutely handed the race to the winner
Inspiral was beaten after a couple of furlongs
Big rock looked unfit and never went a yard
I’d feel pretty unlucky had I backed charyn
May 18, 2024 at 15:40 #1694827Good pick out Green. Shoemark shouldve followed the stablemate ;o)
May 18, 2024 at 15:42 #1694828Well done again green, cracking day you are having
Witch Hunter lands the place money at gingerbet the 200/1 1/4 odds would pay 50/1 the place
Charles Darwin to conquer the World
May 18, 2024 at 15:42 #1694829Well done Greenasgrass again
May 18, 2024 at 15:42 #1694831Audience wasn’t coming back to them though Charyn had a furlong and a half to catch him but in the last half was not making ground with the winner.
The more I know the less I understand.
