The one that I’ve had in mind for this for a while is Wanees. He
won 3 in a row and then unfortunately for him he had to sit behind
a wall of horses in the Britania at Ascot. When eventually he saw
some daylight he made good progress into 6th. The 10f at Goodwood
was a tad to far and he got squeezed onto the rails when tiring up
front 2 out and pulled back to finish down the field.

Back at 8f at Haydock in September he won well last time out He
travels well and has a real kick when he needs it. I fancy his
    chances

    Wanees 14/1 Bet365

I saw Wanees win the Esher Cup at Sandown Park last April – nice horse with a turn of foot.

He was impressive there Ian, sat out the back
and when Crowley pushed the button he took off
and won well. He looks the type for this. I reckon
he’ll be in single figures if he turns up here.

    Atrium 12/1
    Al mubhir 8/1

    My two against the field

They fit a lot of the trends for the race

In reality, I’m waiting on the draw – I’d rather have a bigger bet at shorter odds on one that can actually win it.

There was a bias to horses drawn 10 or higher

Until last year when I bet discounting all the low drawn horses

And then the low drawn horses filled 6 of the first 7 places

If he gets in, and the draw is ok, then it has to be Majestic.
Defo no bet until entry is confirmed.

I might even wait to see how the Spring Mile pans out tbh.

    I’m going for…
    Unforgotten – 16/1
Much better than his last race where he dwelt at the start and was going his best at the finish but not given a hard time he should be bang on for this.
Unforgotten (Exceed And Excel) has never been out of the first 2 in all his races and never higher odds than 11/4 and that’s why the 16/1 is so appealing.
Hopefully he makes the cut and James Doyle takes the ride. :rose: Jac

I’ll go with an ap in this, and hope for the best that he makes it.

I didn’t quite get the 14’s BigG, but I’ll join in with 10-1 Wanees

It’s quite possible that Majestic hit his peak at Newmarket, but he’s looking like being my second selection here if he is declared. I can see him being bigger than current 14’s, so I’ll bide my time

Well done getting in for the 10s SS, best priced 6/1 now.

Wanees still at 10s with 365

And with everyone else Wilts, don’t know what the hell I was thinking about

Worryingly Unforgotten has disappeared from the Lincoln betting on Paddy Powers website although he is still being offered by all the other bookmakers.
Luckily I haven’t backed him yet.

Does anybody know or possibly heard that he may not be running.
