QUEEN OF THE PRIDE 8/1 Hills

Maiden win over Safety Catch is good form that horse won listed race at Lingfield end of the year.

She made her return this year at Goodwood only just lost. Had only 3 starts and more to come from her

    LADY BOBA 10/1

Won a listed race in France last time over shorter. Was 2nd on comeback to a subsequent listed winner and won over this trip last year. Trainer thinks she’ll be one to take abroad so taking that in as one he has high hopes for.

Gone with Mistral Star in the hope that Clifford Lee tries a little harder than he did on Liberty Lane the other day. Few bumps in the road, but several decent horses in the pedigree, and both up in trip, and the ground should be pluses.

Nice to see Lester elevated from handicap to Group 3 status.

I backed Sapphire Seas at York. On form she’s a 9 to 10f filly and in the Middleton (at 10f) I thought Buick set too strong a pace on her. The second best filly on the day losing second and third in the final 100 yards… Expecting a drop in trip and now she’s going up to 1m3f175yrds… And with other front runners to take her on too. Can’t see her staying… And her poor price has imo made several others value.

    I’ve backed:
    Sea Theme 6/1
    Night Sparkle 13/2
    Queen Of The Pride 8/1

ie Taken around 13/8 one of the 3 will win.

    Oh that’s disappointing.
Sapphire Seas main pace rival has come out. Hope they don’t let Dobbs dictate a slow pace.
Hopefully the rank outsider Wynter Wildes doesn’t come out.

I bet Night Sparkle last time, and I thought that she ran really well, so I’m with her again at 9-2

Another Rule 4 and you are going to be hit harder if deduction made at the time declared.

I agree with Ginger on Sappire Seas last run at York, she didn’t necessarily
look to need further although she has a few relations who won over 12f. Perhaps
she’s been trained for this extra distance and I’m going to take a chance with
    the 9/2 on offer.
