At last, a repreive. Only 3 meetings on Monday, 2 really as I hate all weather racing.
It must mean that at last real racing, the jumpers are returning.
Bring on the wet, cold weather and a 3 mile novice chase from Carlisle.
I cannot wait. Bliss!!!!!!!
August 24, 2009 at 01:45 #245471Evening meetings on the grass end next Saturday. Will be glad of a reduced program for the next while. Look forward to the Kempton evening meetings, the McNae/Willo combo in the studio always good value.
Will be the Christmas Hurdle before we know it. Time flies.

August 26, 2009 at 19:36 #245929I found myself looking forward to the jumps season last year as well. I was soon pricked off with it – the Festival excepted – and praying for the Flat. Now I’m sick to death of the Flat and ready for lose my money on the jumps again. It’s the human condition where racing’s concerned, for me anyway.
