    Died aged 29 years on Thursday. It sounds like he had a lovely retirement (17 years) and a death as good as you can hope for.

    His Arkle win in which Francis Woods dropped his whip was a very remarkable performance.

    Nice to hear of some long lived out retirements and to look back and remember their best days. What a great retirement and no doubt that he was very much loved and will be sadly missed.
