I was also wondering if anyone has heard any more about Robert Alners Kingscliffe as he seems to have totally fallen out of love with the game on his last few starts and I wondered if anybody had heard anything about him being possibly retired as I would imagine that would be the best option for him now. I had heard that he is Sally Alners ride at home and enjoys going hunting so I personally think this is what would be best for him now.

That is good to hear as like I previopusly said I really think it is best that he has a happy retirement now as Sallys hack with the odd bit of hunting.

kingscliffe fell out hunting and hit the ground like a ton of bricks 2 years ago, a few weeks before the gold cup and hasnt been the same since.

Haven’t heard anything about this but if so, it’s definitely the way to go as he became a right monkey in the end.

I always thought that he was treated too much like a pet rather than a potential Gold Cup winner but I wasn’t aware of that hunting fall.

I wasn’t aware about his fall whilst out hunting either. I hope he is now enjoying life as a hack.
