Too bad Master Tommytucker isn’t entered here. So impressive in his last races.
November 22, 2020 at 01:20 #1511667Tell me about it DBR, bet him in the summer, and was disappointed when he didn’t get an entry.
Suppose they didn’t want to go back to Kempton, but worth noting Skybet have reintroduced him to the market.
November 22, 2020 at 04:31 #1511672Funny how we all see things differently…thought today was an excellent showing from CDO and pushing Bristol, who is outstanding at Haydock all the way…think he’s as close to a certainty as you can get for Boxing Day.
I honestly think he could have another two races before Boxing Day and still beat Cyrname…
Paul Nicholls might aswell supplement TommyTucker as I can see this being a 3-4 horse race at best and a breeze for Clan with 2nd place up for grabs…
Very disappointed with Lostintranslation too…is it the stable form? Thought there was light at the end of the tunnel with a few recent winners, though lots are still running really poor…or could he be another who just doesn’t recover from a big gold cup effort?
November 22, 2020 at 08:17 #1511673Zamorston he hated the ground , he,s ran on heavy 3 times and ran terribly …I doubt you,ll see him on that heavy a ground again
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 22, 2020 at 10:57 #1511686It’s Tizzard, so you never know.
Nicholls is light years ahead of some of the other trainers with horse / race management – and that includes Henderson.
November 22, 2020 at 11:26 #1511689That depends MarkTT. When it comes to horse / race management with Cheltenham in mind, Henderson is better. He and Mullins tend to work backwards and the results are there for all to see at the Festival. Nicholls aims for Cheltenham sure, but is happier to run his horses more often and mop up more of the races along the way.
November 22, 2020 at 21:50 #1511937Clan Des Obeaux to win this doing somersaults. Odds on on the day. Perfect prep at Haydock yesterday and can’t see anything getting close to him when Nicholls has him 100% primed and ready on the day.
November 23, 2020 at 00:11 #1511947Am I completely bonkers for thinking about 1/2 pt on La Bague au Roi? Won over 3 miles at Kempton before, beating the likes of Topofthegame and Santini. Likes a tight track.
CDO is my idea of the most likely winner but LBAR is a 66/1 poke….
November 23, 2020 at 00:31 #1511951I bet her very early for the 2019 Renewal Frankie, but I think she’s a shadow of her former self, and might be completely gone.
Good luck with her though, if you do side with her. It would be great to see her make a comeback.
November 23, 2020 at 00:57 #1511952She’s never recovered from that race in Ireland on rattling fast ground
December 2, 2020 at 14:38 #1512807I still wouldn’t trust him to turn up, but at 25-1, I’ll go with Waiting Patiently ew
December 14, 2020 at 15:00 #1514211Monalee all but confirmed for this on Nick Luck’s daily podcast.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!December 16, 2020 at 19:54 #1514385Yes, Monalee will go here. Nice to see. I have had a small bet on Saint Calvados at 33/1 EW. I know he has had some issues, but he is still in here so hopefully he’ll go. Most of his runs were over 2 miles, but last season he didn’t have to go from the front. His last two runs were over 2m4f and ran to 167 and 172, the last one being 2nd in the Ryanair a length down to Min, staying on in the end.
Also nice to see Put the Kettle On run at Kempton a day later. She will give Altior a proper test.
December 17, 2020 at 13:00 #1514431Yup, good to see Monalee heading here, got to have a live chance.
I’m not as enthusiastic after Aintree, but pleased to see it’s still being considered for Frodon.
December 19, 2020 at 13:35 #1514685The one thing with Monalee though is he doesnt win enough , saying that it’s good to see the Irish having a go in this
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
December 20, 2020 at 15:07 #1514815Ireland poised to restrict all plane/ferry travel to the UK. Most books betting to 95% or so if you take out Monalee and the other Irish rags – time to step in perhaps…
December 20, 2020 at 18:53 #1514830Henry should contact that lad who jetskied to the isle of man , I’m sure he can help get monalee over
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
