Bet Midnight Our Fred for this last year, but he got balloted out.

He should have a better chance of getting in this year, and with him becoming something of a bridesmaid horse, it has to be an EW bet, and I’ll take the 25’s just now. I think he’ll come here, so happy to have an early one on him.

Probably the only race where I’ll consider a couple Antepost, and though a few others on my mind, Fred’s the first

Last year runner up Git Maker is only 1 pound higher, despite being second here and third in the Scottish National. He was a long way clear of the field, only to be beaten by Inothewayurthinkin, who won the Mildmay Novice Chase at Aintree next. Made his comeback last weekend over hurdles. I think he is a big price.

Well done on those prices at the top there.

Midnight Our Fred 15/2 – Beaten by Perceval Legover who won next time, looks a good chance.

Git Maker 14/1 – 2nd last year, hopefully course helps him back to that form as it has been smelly recently.

Sine Nomine 33/1 – Hunter winner last year, running well enough last time before tumbling, price is gut ja.

Missed the fancy price VtC got, but it’s Midnight Our Fred for me too.

Git Maker might run well, has done before in this race for same jockey

Manothepeople looks like a likely possible longshot.

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

One of my bigger fancies of the week is Johnnywho in this. Just looks laid out for it.

Very boring but I’ve always liked Johnnywho so he’s the bet

    Good race.
    Hard luck Johnnywho backers.
I know I slag Mullins jr but thought he gave Sa Majeste a good ride, got him jumping well and finished as well as he could have.

    I agree greenasgrass.

I think he’s a terrible jockey but nobody could have ridden that horse any better today.
