    I was interested in Gordon’s horses, Not Today and Maybe Next Time, but the fact that he was lukewarm on them in the previews shows that the game was up, no point in him wasting a mark against JPsplottedbetterthanu

    I don’t think you can compare the winner today and Langer Dan. He ran in probably the strongest Grade 1 novice chase this season outside of the festival, pretty well as it happens behind Gaelic Warrior and Il Etait Temps but in front of American Mike. I didn’t back him today as he was very short but with that form its a mystery how he got 145.
