I would have said this is envoi Allen’s toughest career task to date having to give asterion furlonge 11 pounds!!
However, it’s left handed ( I’m pretty sure punchestown is left handed anyway lol) and we all know asterion in much better going right handed.
Although if he does jump a bit straighter we could finally see just how good envoi is because asterion is some horse to beat and give 11 pounds just a shame it’s left handedCertainly suits the Mullins horse that way around and weight allowance

How on earth is envoi going to give asterion 11 pounds? Way I see it is that if Cheltenham was right handed asterion wouldn’t have been far off shishkin in the supreme.
Asterion seems fully capable of running in the 160s so envoi would have to put up a hell of a figure to beat him. I know he could be capable of it but he would basically have to confirm he’s a superstar on Sunday. I’d have them a lot closer in the betting that’s for sure
Envoi is a superstar , i wouldn’t be convinced the Mullins horse is one , he didn’t deliver at Cheltenham and was 11 lengths behind shiskin , 11 pounds is a lot but I can see envoi jumping him silly

hurdle->jumps ratings, its actually not as big a gap as youd think, nontheless, envoi would need to run to 167+ to win on that basis, not factoring in any improvement asterion may or may not have found going over fences, envoi of course could have improved vastly for a fence alsoIt essentially puts them off levels on there hurdles form.
