JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...November 3, 2023 at 01:17 #1668879From what I understand Kind sadly died from complications when she was foaling him, truly an end of an era for Juddmonte with her last foal finally making the track.
Fingers crossed he ends up being a decent horse but going 7F on heavy ground is not the best of conditions to introduce a likely more backward type of 2 yr old for his first run.
Nice of Juddmonte to send Kind’s last foal to her trainer Roger Charlton to train – has a kind of symmetry to it, especially considering this will be the last year he will be on a trainer’s licence.
November 3, 2023 at 10:02 #1668900A win for the family just now at Moonie Valley , Rebadge ( Badge in France ) Galileo out of Joyeuse .
November 3, 2023 at 11:20 #1668905A promising first run.
November 3, 2023 at 21:39 #1669034Yep, agreed CAS, very promising start. I’ll nominate the 2024 Britannia Handicap.
November 3, 2023 at 22:00 #1669041November 3, 2023 at 22:10 #1669043Certainly looks the part Jac and ran a good debut on ground you’d think wouldn’t be ideal over a trip that was likely inadequate. Winner could prove better than we think too.
November 3, 2023 at 22:19 #1669047I backed Zoum Zoum Catherine, big flashy chestnut, very impressive and agreed more to come.

I think they were hopeful Kikkuli would win today, connecions were having a long post race discussion with the jockey.
