Thinking of Luke and Debbie today.
June 3, 2007 at 16:26 #63538Crikey, a year already. It doesn’t seem like that long ago that Craig was at the yard watching Taj on the gallops.
Best wishes to Debbie and Luke.
June 3, 2007 at 16:44 #63539Well said HJ, a nice thread.
Keith
June 3, 2007 at 18:18 #63540Only 19 replies so far? I expected more

Jim, steady on, this isn’t an election,
and I will speak up for the silent majority
in stating that many have private thoughts
that for many reasons are kept that way
but these private thoughts are no less valid
for remaining tight inside the box.
Thoughts go to Debs and Luke and
other family and close friends.
Daylight was a great horseracing enthousiast
and I feel many will particularly remember
him always around this time of year
Derby time, for many years to come.
I think that is rather nice

June 3, 2007 at 19:04 #63543Very well said HJ.
Derby Day will always bring back sad memories to me because of Craig’s sad passing. It still seems so hard to believe.
My thoughts are with Debs, Luke and his family.
June 3, 2007 at 19:16 #63544Craig was one of life’s nice guys and my thoughts are also with Debs and Luke on ths day.
June 3, 2007 at 21:05 #63545Well said and i hope he is looking down and seeing that this remains the best forum by far (thanks to corm)
June 3, 2007 at 21:10 #63546A thread that puts things in perspective.
Am I right in thinking I called a race in Craig’s memory at Brighton (?) last year ?
June 3, 2007 at 21:12 #63547I joined the forum after Craig but would still like to add my good wishes to his family.

Hi Richard
Craig’s memorial race was at Warwick and Lee McKenzie was on duty that day.
June 3, 2007 at 21:33 #63549Thanks. Obviously echo all the sentiments expressed above.
June 3, 2007 at 23:17 #63550Very best wishes to Debs and Luke. Hope both are well.
Grey Desire bumped into John Gallagher last week and got an update on the Gloaming and Glistening Silver foals. That caused me to look up the pictures of our last "syndicate" visit to John’s stables. It was obvious from them how much Craig loved his racing (and the syndicate he started).
June 4, 2007 at 09:21 #63551Well said, HJ – barely seems a year since Adrian caught up with me at Dingley to pass on the tragic news. My best wishes to all concerned, of course.
