    Devastated to report the death of old Jonny Delta. 10 years old in his 78th race (I think). I’d just put the racing on sadly in time to see the fatal fall – obvious straight away that it was fatal, but later confirmed.

    Awful news. Missed the racing today but very sad to hear about him – an honest and reliable low-grade slugger.

    You couldn’t expect any horse to give more than he did over the years. What a servant he’s been and what a sad way to go. RIP
