Nice one Joni and Ginge
hope you didn’t get hammered too much with the rule 4.
Really thought that Tabarrak would beat Ballet Concerto today with the weight difference over last time they meet but the Stoute horse has progressed and Tabarrak was disappointing in that he lacked a turn of foot when needed..Jac

RLM is simply the world’s best one, and he decided this race, as so many others.
Compared to him, Crowley appeared like a schoolboy..August 17, 2017 at 23:28 #1314192Nice one Joni and Ginge
Joni alone deserves the praise, Jac. With my saver I did as well as someone who did not have a bet in the race.
Actually that’s a lie, I made 10p on the race.
Value Is EverythingAugust 17, 2017 at 23:35 #1314194I lost 6p due the rule 4.
I did do Nelson in a double with Everton though

August 17, 2017 at 23:51 #1314196Haven’t seen the race but sounds like it was close. Just seen a replay of Nelson winning – another front running performance from a Frankel. I’m convinced that’s how you need to ride most of them.

Brilliant tipping Joni as always but a saver does what it says on the packet Ginge and better than throwing £10 the bookies way.
Had a friend call round and completely forgot about Nelson
Great to hear he won though, I think Joni’s right all the Frankel’s should be ridden from the front, all they want to do is show off their clean pair of heels.

Compared to him, Crowley appeared like a schoolboy..Spot on Hein, I think Jim Crowley judged the pace of that race wrong with a horse like Tabarrak who doesn’t have a great turn of foot.
He was rallying again at the finish but his chance had gone.
Best horse and jockey won.

I’m pulling my hair out here Joni
Wall of Fire should be a group winner……..
At least Palmer had him on a suitable track today.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026

Well done with Ulysses and Aljezeera (3rd) she’s going to be in the winners enclosure any time soon when the greeness wears off, she actually jumped the road today during the race and was very unbalanced but flying with a wet sail at the finish.
Jac XThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 25, 2017 at 03:44 #1315457Thanks Jac – last day today!! Yes Aljazeera ran a strange race didn’t she? As you say, still very green. Moribran a stinker – I’m sure something was amiss. A couple for today including the fastest filly in the west!! What a race that should be….

August 25, 2017 at 12:50 #1315517Nice one with Queen Kindly the other day Joni that was a smart enough performance from her despite only just holding on.
Hope today goes well for you!
August 25, 2017 at 15:43 #1315587Thanks Ben. Today has to be the unluckiest for some time. I was sure Dartmouth had won, I was sure Lady A had won! Daban breaks down. A day to forget.
