Just watching ATR’s Ascot preview and he’s wearing
an identical hat/shirt and waistcoat as he had on yesterday? It’s Royal Ascot ffs, surely he could have made a bit of effort
to get changedHope he’s had a shower
June 16, 2010 at 08:38 #301039He’s been wearing that same top hat for as long as I can remember,it really is time he got a new one.
If he had worn a bog standard black topper then we wouldn’t necessarily notice if it was the same one, whereas the one he wears stands out like a sore thumb!
June 16, 2010 at 08:40 #301040Are you Jonathan Ross?

If he was, he’d have said, "John McCwiwick" !

1/3 He hasn’t
7/2 He has.June 16, 2010 at 10:13 #301058Would it kill you to at least check the spelling on your thread titles (however inane they may be) before you submit them, Matthew?
June 16, 2010 at 10:37 #301065Yeah of course, I’ll check next time as it’s upset you that much.

That’s slightly harsh CR. I’m new to this forum so don’t know how other people feel about spelling, and I certainly don’t want to go upsetting people. But as a kid I struggled with dyslexia and worked really hard to rectify my spelling. I’d hate to think that someone pointed out my spelling mistakes on this forum (and there will be some) when it’s clear that you know who or what I’m talking about.
A few people have already had a lighthearted dig at how Matthew has spelt Big Mac’s name, it’s clear he is talking about John McCririck, so is there really an issue here?
June 16, 2010 at 10:42 #301068I’d have thought McCririck was more of a bath man, so that he could continue smoking his cigar and reading the Form Book.

Good man. Thank you.

There has been no hint of dyslexia in any of Matthews posts up to now. If there had been I wouldn’t have raised the issue. I fail to see what a persons appearance or personal hygiene has to do on a horseracing forum, but if your going to slag people off for those at least have the decency to spell their names correctly.
Hope that clarifies things and welcome to the forum.

Spot on Cav.
And just for the record I have been sitting next to John this morning and there is absolutely nothing wrong with his personal hygine.
And before anybody comes back and says it was meant in fun – it isn’t funny, it isn’t clever it is juvenile.

Thats what forums should be about, good vibes…
I’d actually realised I’d spelt it wrong a minute after creating
the thread but was in a rush and forgot to editJune 16, 2010 at 11:23 #301083Matthew , your post was at best puerile , maybe you should stop and count to a thousand (if you can ) before posting stuff like this , as it just smacks of the type of stuff portrayed on the Betfair forum
Perhaps you might think about it

June 16, 2010 at 11:28 #301089Matthew, Cormick is the governor of the forum and until such time as he tells you what subjects you can and cannot post and whether the post has to be correctly splet with perfect grammar you carry on mate.
I quite like your threads, not particularly this one, but in general there is an air of honesty and freshness about them.
