    The wonderful old "steel drivin’ horse" is 32 today, happy birthday ol’ timer.

    His story is an inspiration to us all, and he makes Seabiscuit look like one of the silver spoon brigade.

    a great horse but a major b*****d
    in some ways.  Reminds me of bit General Ironside whose yard I visited a number of years back. It was considerd prudent to bring a pitch fork with you when dishing out his oats every morning.  He was mean.
