    Timmy Murphy.

Not always on the best horse but for my money wins more races that others would not have won on than any other pilot.

So tricky but Timmy for me,

Got his National and he deserved it.

Murphy rode an excellant race in the Grand National but what else did he do?

Ruby Walsh’s showed his usual brilliance in the big races. But does have top trainers to ride for.

AP has just had a wonderful few weeks. Is the best rider I have ever seen. However, did not have a good season looking at the best races.

Thomas is a very good jockey but don’t see what he did that was so exceptional.

Is Fitz only there for the sympathy vote? May be his career deserves a vote, not year.

Brennan has done a great job reviving the career of Twiston Davis. Improved all season and is particularly good when front-running or on dodgy jumpers. So gets my vote.
