Would any one happen to know of, or where one could obtain a height list of all National Hunt Jockeys currently riding under rules within England and Ireland? This I know is an unusual request, however not one to go unappreciated. Many Thanks.
September 4, 2013 at 08:52 #450185You’ll be asking their shoe sizes next! lol
I don’t have an answer though suggest if you contacted jockeys valets they might be able to help you though I don’t know how you do that.
September 4, 2013 at 10:53 #450191If you’re interested in particular jockeys rather than a distribution of heights you can just put their name followed by ‘height’ into google………..
Ruby and AP are both 1 metre 78……….not sure what that is in English height
Robert Thornton – 5 foot 7
Aidan Coleman – 6 footSeptember 4, 2013 at 11:16 #450192Only a tilt in the right direction admittedly, but the following link gives heigths of a few prominent jockeys:

Think there’s a minimum and maximum height firecat but not sure what those are though.
September 5, 2013 at 07:06 #450251Thank you all for your feedback, I found the Google trick works very well especially the jockeys who are not so well known, and I also found the BHA link very helpful for the better known riders.
September 5, 2013 at 15:52 #450288Firecat, on the subject of NH jockeys are you aware that you can put them into the search engine on Racing Post site and it tells you their lowest riding weight in the last 12 months. Not sure exactly where your research is taking you but this may be helpful.
