Allaho’s form now looks much stronger with easy game getting so close to faugheen
Just whether he comes here or the RSA
February 2, 2020 at 15:28 #1481746I’m warming to the chances of Allaho. But for the RSA.
February 2, 2020 at 20:19 #1481789With laurina, bapaume, melon and tornado flyer all falling by the wayside you would think allaho and faugheen will be split up
One to the RSA one to the marsh chase
It’s just figuring out which one goes where
February 2, 2020 at 20:39 #1481791Faugheen will definitely come here if all is well, no question about it, its the easier of the two generally
February 2, 2020 at 20:54 #1481792Just watched the interview with willie Mullins after the race
Just something about the way he was talking and his saying today was faugheens gold cup makes me wonder if he will go to Cheltenham at all
Rich Ricci suggested the RSA but wouldnt really commit to anything
February 3, 2020 at 10:14 #1481833Have seen a lot of people comment on this. Wouldn’t take a word of it. They had just won a huge race. He’ll be there. Where he goes is a different story. Never thought he’d go anywhere but here personally, but Flogas winners tend to go RSA. I do think he’s a different horse to most though so here is still very likely.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 3, 2020 at 15:12 #1481865Itchy Feet was very impressive on Saturday clocking a decent sectional aswell. Had a bit on him at 10/1 to go with my various Mister Fisher bets.
Couldn’t have Faugheen at all in this, yesterday was his shining glory over fences.
February 18, 2020 at 14:23 #1483218Just read that Samcro has had a wind op. Here’s the quote from Gordon Elliott:
“Samcro has an entry, but if he goes to Cheltenham, it will be for the Marsh Novices’ Chase.
He has had a wind operation since Limerick and, although we were disappointed on the day, he was beaten by a good horse.
We had problems with him last season not scoping right and he did not scope great after Limerick. He is a very hard horse to keep right.
He is working well and looks great, so we will give it a go.
I would prefer the ground to be on the better side for him.”Think that explains the blue across oddschecker.
February 19, 2020 at 18:41 #1483311Allaho being aimed for the RSA.
March 3, 2020 at 00:22 #1484461I’m still hoping allaho comes here
Willie likes to run his horses in the easiest races
Surely taking on itchy feet and mister Fisher is a considerably easier task than taking on champ, minella indo and copperhead
I’m also not sure he will stay the RSA trip strongly enough to win
I’m on nrnb at 16s so no damage if he does go the RSA just think he has a much better chance in this
March 3, 2020 at 09:10 #1484478Latest vibes sound like Faugheen is going to come here and that may be swaying WPM to run Allaho in the RSA along with Chev Park wanting to go there.
March 3, 2020 at 11:13 #1484486Any word as to whether Black Op goes for this race yet?
I’d be very keen on him e/w if he did, his form is rock solid.
March 3, 2020 at 11:33 #1484488I’ve went with Reserve Tank here at 14-1 Non Runner No Bet, and he’s the main fancy, but I’ve also added his stablemate Slate House at 20-1.
March 11, 2020 at 22:32 #1485614It boggles the mind that samcro is fav for this
I’m on him at 16s with a free bet but jesus I wouldnt back him at that today let alone 4/1
March 11, 2020 at 22:48 #1485617Its pretty unbelievable eh FF? On what planet does he deserve to be near the front of this market?
If faugheen runs to the level hes ran to in ireland hes unbeatable, this is an absolute rotten race, everyones formline bar his is shockingly poor
Ill just be watching this but im fully expecting if he doesnt bomb out faugheen to win, but hes 12 and hes had some hard races, IMO he will be either first or last, nothing in between
March 11, 2020 at 23:33 #1485622Samcro has had another breathing op since last seen and apparently going well at home.
Faugheen struggled to beat RSA also ran Easy Game last time out last month. ie Dropping below the form of his penultimate start. Fair evidence (along with connections reluctance in committing to run) of a drop in form? After all, vast majority of 12 year olds are on the downgrade. Am a fan of Faugheen and no fan of Samcro, but tbh would rather oppose the Mullins horse here (on age grounds). 4/1 isn’t bad value for Samcro. Saver material.
imo Itchy Feet‘s Sandown form and placed in the hurdle last year make him the best value along with the mare Annie MC. Latter has improvement to find but hasn’t had the opportunity yet to show how good she is – could be anything and has the valuable (as results this week have shown) massive mares allowance. Worth a bet at around 17/1.Value Is EverythingMarch 12, 2020 at 00:07 #1485628Even faugheens form line looks pretty average ham
He beat a samcro who went from cruising to stopping like hed been hit with a tranquiliser, the rating faugheen was given after that race was far far too high
Then was all out to beat easy game who was well beaten in the RSA
I’m still a bit miffed allaho isn’t running here, after champagne classic got pulled out allaho for the marsh was my NAP of the week
I like mister Fisher and have him at a double figure price but I’m nothing more than hopeful at this stage
