Time for the cabinet to grow a pair.

July 6, 2022 at 22:04 #1605665Certainly the longer it goes on the more it will hurt the party.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"July 6, 2022 at 23:03 #1605674My single wishlist:
A new leader and PM to deliver real Conservative policies that were voted for in December 2019.
Bury the covid-induced Socialist policies of the last 2 years.July 6, 2022 at 23:13 #1605675A new leader and PM to deliver real Conservative policies that were voted for in December 2019.
Bury the covid-induced Socialist policies of the last 2 years.Would you know a Socialist policy if it bit you on the bum?

July 6, 2022 at 23:32 #1605677Telegraph reporting if there was another no confidence vote tomorrow Boris would get just 65 of the 358 votes.
Once the new 1922 Commitee is formed and we have another confidence vote Boris will be humiliated.
Therefore Boris will go before that happens.Value Is EverythingJuly 6, 2022 at 23:50 #1605678“Telegraph reporting if there was another no confidence vote tomorrow Boris would get just 65 of the 358 votes.”
This is why it still baffles me why the anti-BJ Tory MPs called the No Confidence vote the other week.
Just shows they’re not particularly clever – doesnt bode well for an intelligent new PM to be voted in. If those bozos had delayed until after the 2 recent by-elections BJ would’ve been stuffed!July 7, 2022 at 00:11 #1605679You’re assuming those Tory MPs putting in their letters of no confidence were all colluding together, Wilts. Some probably were, but suspect many were acting purely on their own. When each Conservative MP came to the conclusion the PM should go he / she did the decent thing and wrote the letter. That’s why the number of letters is kept secret, to make it more difficult to manipulate the time it happens. Number of letters gradually building up one by one. Only the head of the 1922 Committee knew for certain what the number of letters was until it reached the requisite number needed for a vote.

July 7, 2022 at 01:17 #1605688The talk now is that if Boris doesn’t have enough volunteers to fill the 40 odd vacancies created yesterday he will just reduce the size of his government.
They are going to have to prise his fingers off the door to get him out number 10.
July 7, 2022 at 03:54 #1605690I can’t wait for the inevitable Netflix/Amazon/Sky BoJo series, it’s
