My good friend Nick Alexander lost his best horse Fearless Foursome on the gallops this morning with a shattered pastern. This is a horse bred, broken and trained by Nick and really started to progress winning four races in December in bottomless ground. He was the star horse in a small yard. We were looking forward to his first run on decent ground as he looked certain to be even better.
It’s sad when any horse dies but the good ones are harder to lose.

Wise Man completed the treble today winning the Ladies Open at Alnwick with his 16 year old novice jockey. Lucy and WM now have a 100% SR and the next outing may be in the Cheltenham Foxhunters!!!<br>
