    That’s bad news and really upsetting for racing fans, punters and connections. I really think he is something special even without AP comparing him to KS.

    It’s a pity for any horse but particularly a smaller stable’s star horse rather than a trainer who has at least half a dozen to choose from for each G1 race.

    Very unfortunate for connections – and those of us who backed him antepost! But I hope the horse is OK and makes a good recovery.

    I was at Warwick when he won and he was very impressive. He stood out in the paddock.

    A real shame. It follows on from the sad loss of I Like To Move It last month. British novice chasing can ill afford the loss of such promising recruits. Hopefully Iroko will be back at least.
