Everyone’s favourite race of the year
Nah, not really. Just when you think Saturday couldn’t get better with Altior v Cyrname and BDM v LIT v Frodon; now we can look forward to Minella Indo taking on Laurina in a 2 mile 4F Beginners Chase at Gowran. Should be interesting to see how both jump.

…. top stuff from the RP there, not sure what makes her the likely winner
Havent seen the odds etc but im not sure id view it how they are
The softer the better for Minella Indo although he’d probably prefer longer than 2 and a half. Could be looking at the Arkle Winner vs the RSA winner
Minella indo will definitely be undercooked, laurina isnt as bombproof as she looked in the mares novice, people keep saying shes made for a fence, shes certainly not bred for it and id be concerned until she did it first time
Would probably be with school boy hours at a big price e/w and let the front two go and do it
I was hoping for joint favs so I could have laurina in a multi over a trip that will be too short for minella indo
Was not expecting 8/15 laurina and 15/8 minella indo
As expected laurina had far too much speed for minella indo
Both looked good though
Laurina jumped well bar one or two scruffy ones

As a Battleoverdoyen backer I can’t say either scared me to much , still early days though
She jumped very well, i wouldnt be worried going forward now she answered whatever questions i had pre-race

Denman wasn’t fast ….just a relentless galloper , this horse is very similar , time will tell
Early days, but Laurina v impressive; finished well, which on heavy at Gowran takes some doing

I think LAURINA looked good but there was a couple of ropey jumps from MINELLA INDONESIA to be fair, also if your looking at the Ariel For me FAKIR DOUDAIRES looks the best one for that so far
