Just realised I’ve got an ante post on Regal Jubilee 40/1: must have followed people on this thread as wouldn’t have worked that out for myself. Fingers crossed!

May 5, 2024 at 15:47 #1693065WD TinMan and Green
If there are other winners, apologies and WDMay 5, 2024 at 15:47 #1693066Nice one Green, anyone else?
The things I want most in life are the things that I can't win.
May 5, 2024 at 15:48 #1693067Jesus, any other jockey than spencer on board and tamfana wins that
Wd winners
May 5, 2024 at 15:48 #1693068Apologies to Tin Man, well played Tin Man, and he was one of gingers too
May 5, 2024 at 15:49 #1693069De Sousa really is a great jockey; top ride that was imho
May 5, 2024 at 15:49 #1693070wd winners. Last to first. French horse ran a blinder. Ylang Ylang ran alright in view of an Oaks attempt.
Fallen Angel not good enough. See The Fire terrible on the day.
May 5, 2024 at 15:49 #1693071Oh bugger! Won’t be backing Star Style in a rush from now to eternity.
Well done winners 👍
May 5, 2024 at 15:51 #1693072Well done winners, especially to you green after Minella Crooner yesterday at about the same price.
May 5, 2024 at 15:55 #1693073Thanks folks but I actually just followed FF, looked at the thread before I looked at the race and liked the reasoning. She finished strongly last time as he said and was ahead of the winner after the post.
Thanks FF!
May 5, 2024 at 16:00 #1693074I feel very lucky with Elmalka. Brilliant ride by SDS. Tamfana unlucky in running (probably not Spencer’s fault).
But the French horse Ramatuelle really should have won. Jockey lost it by increasing an already strong pace on a horse that had stamina doubts. I said she was a doubtful stayer, but she would’ve stayed fine had the jockey kept hold of her longer. Should’ve won by a good margin.
Value Is EverythingMay 5, 2024 at 16:05 #1693075Booooom
Got some kick out of that
She was so green but she’s so strong in that final furlong and has been all 3 starts
That benbatl connection and her breeding made me back her on debut as she was related to plenty who won or went close first start and she fairly rattled home that day
And she would’ve won the Fred darling with a clear passage
28/1

Spot on ginge
That wasn’t a good ride at all
She has prix jean prat, prix maurice de gheest and prix de la foret written all over her if they don’t persist with a mile
Elmalka is so green, surely only improvement to come
May 5, 2024 at 16:25 #1693079The other thing to look at is the draw.
16 beats 15, 11, 4, 12, 14.
The only one drawn far side to get into it was Tamfana who had to switch to the near side to get a run.
The 6th placed in 14 being rank outsider Rolica.I would not be at all surprised if the form does not work out.
Best of those to race far side:
Cinderella’s Dream, Fallen Angel. Don’t discount those from turning the tables.Value Is EverythingMay 5, 2024 at 16:33 #1693081Well done winners. Another Guineas winner that was only entered in 1 mile races. Disappointing run from Cinderellas Dream who I really fancied.
