Gord hasn’t got any friends on here

But he’s got one more than you as he likes himself.
Why are you doing this to yourself. You are alienating yourself from everyone in the forum by telling us how good a system you have but "I am not giving it to you bunch of scruff"
I think you’ve had more than a fair crack of the whip and it’s a bout time you put up or shut up.
Ken’s a decent guy and anything but a dick mate and you won’t make friends here by calling him one.
So if you are not here to make new friends why are you here?.

I will start to talk about what I do when I stop getting sh*t thrown at me and if it comes my way it’s coming back. I tried to reason objectively but if it’s just a slagging match then I’m up for that as well.

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck then, disregarding probability, it probably is a duck!

Eplained that a hundred times and back at ya bucky!
May 8, 2009 at 19:34 #226379Caledon. likes to tell everyone he"s found the "holy grail" to horse racing success, but wont tell anyone what it is! !
Nowhere have I mentioned anything about a "holy grail"!
You quite sure about that? or are your contradictions catching up with you!
May 8, 2009 at 19:34 #226380Caledon,
So if you are a still a successful professional Black Jack player Caledon, why is your bank dwindling? Why do you need to go back to horse racing? I presume you made the decision to give up the horses at some point, to concentrate on the profession making most money, Black Jack.
Please, don’t think I am writing you off as a crank. It is just from all you’ve said so far it seems more likely than a pro gambler.
If you were to explain a bit more my first impression might change.
I too would like to talk to other profit making investors, and may be you are one. Take a look at my thread I mentioned earlier, it shows how I do things and by all means tell me what you think.
Nobody on here is against you personally we just would like to see a little more of your ideas, before we can say "he knows his stuff that Caledon".

Value Is EverythingMay 8, 2009 at 19:36 #226383You quite sure about that? or are your contradictions catching up with you!
Absolutely and if I’m wrong then post with a quote where I said it… ah sorry, you can’t use that function properly. Well just post anyway.
May 8, 2009 at 19:42 #226385Sorry about that but all I meant was that the person questioning my knowledge relies on his holy grail of FORM and is insistent that he knows what he is talking about, I, on the other hand, rely on my holy grail of MATHEMATICS, and, with a degree in the subject, think I know my subject.
Take him away m"lud, this guys a FRAUD!!

Hi Mark,
Please just stop, please….. stop making assumptions!
Let’s try and put this down finally… I played Blackjack and invested in my method for horseracing, I made some money, I then decided to take a break, my bank account started to decline [no income coming in], I then decided to re-start my career. That will involve playing Blackjack and investing in horseracing again. Is that clear now?
Please, don’t think I am writing you off as a crank. It is just from all you’ve said so far it seems more likely than a pro gambler.
You could have fooled me
May 8, 2009 at 19:56 #226390And, whilst I remember,
who said that I was a ex Blackjack player, or a Blackjack player in a previous life. To clear things up… I still am
and will continue to be so long after I give up on horseracing.
By that I thought you meant you have not been an ex-Black Jack player and have always been a Black Jack Player. No "assumption" made on my part mate, just taking it from what you wrote.
Your posts are full of apparrent contradictions.
Now you say you had given up on Black Jack too and now going back to it.

Taken completely out of context… as usual. But if you want to be literal then my "holy grail" is MATHEMATICS not my METHOD, or system as you keep refering to it.
You will have to try a LOT harder than that me thinks!

Seriously, you guys are not really this thick are you. It’s plain bloody english just read and digest before jumping in with both feet and looking stupid.
If you would just read what I write before trying to make a huge conspiracy theory this thread would have closed ages ago and become a lot more interesting with it’s follow on.
May 8, 2009 at 20:09 #226394As some smart alec once wrote in a book about being a full time punter :
"Spend your leisure hours tuned to the Open University and you’ll be rewarded with a degree and the approval of your peers. Put the same effort into study of the Racing Channel and you’ll be considered beyond redemption. Search the New Year Honours list and you won’t find any awards for services to punting.
The personal satisfaction of beating the most challenging intellectual pastime available to man is still a goal worth pursuing. But it will be a private pleasure, because your claim to beat the bookies will either be dismissed as lies, or ignored as worthless."
You should have stuck to telling us about the Maths degree Caledon ……..

I love those sort of quotes they are so enlightening but often wrong.
e.g. Bruce said "boards don’t hit back"
But he didn’t know about this one when he said that

You come on here and say I am a pro gambler in your very first post and expect everyone to go Wow! Far from it you are inviting people to ridicule, doubt you and get into silly arguments with you.
Do you have sh!t for brains? Are you that far up yourself you didn’t realise that people would immediately think "What a plonker"? Or do you just crave attention?
For a Pro anything you’re not exactly overburdened with grey matter are you?
Doyou know howmany people have systems on here and post them?Doyou really think anyone gives a rats ass about yours.
Do yourself a favour and go over to sytems and you can bet your backsde if it has flawsin it the boys will tear it apart like a rag doll. If it’s a good one you’ll become a legend we can all look up to.
Talk is cheap mate, go for it and show us how good you are. I doubt if anyone will pay much attention.
Howver if you get to the stage where you begin to show very good profits and are worried that others will spoil it by backing your selections you can stop,Yes? then no harm done. in fact you don’t evenhave totell how you make them just postte namesand pts staked.
So there you are, you can have no no excuses or objections as you have nothing to lose have you? but by gum you have a lot to prove after what you are claiming.
May 8, 2009 at 20:25 #226397Sorry this idiot did a double post.

Value Is EverythingMay 8, 2009 at 20:31 #226398Sorry Caledon, you must excuse us idiots, we have not got the brain power of a maths Prof.

But to get this right. Which of YOUR OWN QUOTES is correct?
The one that says "I PLAYED Black Jack and ……then decided to take a break……(NO MONEY COMING IN), I then decided to re-start my career. That WILL involve playing Black Jack…"
Or this one "who said I am an ex-Black Jack player?…To clear things up … I STILL am and will CONTINUE…"
Have added the question mark to your quote to make it sound correct.
Sorry Prof can you tell a mere idiot, these two posts mean totally different things to me. I know English is not your subject but, please; which is it?

Sometimes it is obvious they know what they are talking about AP, sometimes it seems very unlikely.

May 8, 2009 at 21:01 #226408Please don’t do a lock-out yet. I’m just having a bite to eat and I would hope to respond to Caledon shortly regarding the duck statement. It’s not me that’s quackers, Cal.
