I see Francome on ATR (celebrating McCoy and dissing Ryan Moore) plugged this book.

November 8, 2013 at 19:56 #457685I love the article on the same page about the eventing horse that has just died at the age of 33. When he could no longer jump out of his field he just learned how to open the gate and let himself out. And some people think that horses aren’t smart.

I’m with you. Lots of people put in the same position would act and speak the same. He is a jockey not a TV presenter.
I think also some jockeys – not saying Ryan but some – will have had difficult childhoods, lets face it the smallest kid in the class often gets bullied. I couldn’t give a **** how well they interview, give me a keen rider of winners anytime.
November 9, 2013 at 18:11 #457854I think Francomes felt he was rude to Matt Chapman. I might go back and have a look…
I would consider myself cripplingly shy…but actually its easier in that circumstance to be polite. Is really difficult for him to stick a few thank yous in his post race talk???
BTW, anyone read this book??
