    Sad News, He was a good horse If he’d have stood up in last years Champion i think he would have beat Sublimitiy. RIP :cry:

    The racing has been fantastic on the whole but it has certainly been a rotten time on the fatality front so far this season.

    Who’d have thought we’d have lost Granit Jack, Detroit City, Macs Joy & Iktitaf in little over a month? All big, big names that leave quite a void :(

    Sad news. I thought he was going to win it before he fell last year and couldn’t believe the 25/1 antepost about this years champion hurdle. Shame we will never know how good he could have become.

    Just goes to show, most horses should be 25/1 just to make the line up of any given race let alone win it.

    But then again, what about Silent Oscar 50/1, beat Macs Joy, Harchibald, Hardy Eustace and Ikititaf at level weights on it’s last run.

    Point taken, though. I’ve seen members suggest backing for ante-post targets at short odds and many of them may well be available at that price or better NRNB at the time.
