Back O’The Net, Barwell, Be Yourself, Circling Moon, Lets Get Started, No Nay Forever, Scotsman’s Bay (FR), Sir Lolypop.
RIP to all.
October 1, 2020 at 22:40 #1504468Ekbalco, are you sure that there were FIVE fatalities from the Oliver McKiernan stable with “Keep the Faith Syndicate” as registered owners????
None of the horses fell and four of them ran within the last 3-4 weeks. It must be a mistake otherwise you’d have to suggest they were victim of a fire, poisoning or just simply put down with no obvious reason. Why would you put down five horses from the same ownership?
Could you check on this please?
October 2, 2020 at 10:44 #1504488All confirmed as died on the Racing Post database Ruby. Unless it’s a admin error of some sort, questions need to be asked. It’s not unusual for stables to register deaths in one go I suppose but, as you say, 4 of them were certainly alive until very recently
October 2, 2020 at 13:22 #1504497Well spotted Ruby and an explanation is needed if indeed correct. Just hope it’s not a case of not “keeping the faith” and cutting their losses
October 2, 2020 at 18:00 #1504520It’ worrying Ruby the ‘Keep The Faith’ syndicate suddenly has no horses and the trainer’s total earnings are the same as the syndicate.
Questions definitely need to be asked when horses die for no reason.
I notice just one horse has an entry tomorrow for the syndicate with no horses at Gowran Park his name is
Pay The Fine, he’s a 6yo who from his RP profile looks like he is running for the first time over 2 and a half miles and priced at 100/1.
I’m really worried for him after seeing this Ruby.RIP To all these horses
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...October 3, 2020 at 22:24 #1504803As you say Tonge, hopefully it is an admin error by the HRI. I’m guessing that the RP takes it’s lead from the HRI in terms of updating the profile of these horses?…I’ll keep an eye on this and GLADLY amend the post if it turns out its incorrect. I can’t see anything else online about this and I reckon it would certainly have attracted attention due to the short timeline involved.
October 3, 2020 at 23:39 #1504819The same yard/ownership had a non-runner today at Gowran Park: Pay the Fine
This was their only entry and they have no further entries for the next 6-7 days. Besides that, Oliver McKiernan is 0-49 this season.
I don’t know what this means, but it should be followed closely in the next few days and weeks. Any updates are highly appreciated.
October 4, 2020 at 00:55 #1504838I was actually relieved that Pay The Fine was a non runner today and look forward to any updates regarding the stricken horses of that syndicate.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...October 8, 2020 at 13:26 #1505308Pay The Fine is entered in a Downpatrick bumper tomorrow. At least he won’t be jumping obstacles. No news on the other stricken horses?
October 8, 2020 at 19:50 #1505358It seems the Keep The Faith syndicate have a few engagements upcoming.
