This time next year we’ll be millionaires! I do find that the older I get the harder it’s becoming to find the right woman!

A woman is probably to biggest bet you’ll ever make Ben. Check her teeth – it’s a clue she looks after herself. Check how her relationship with her parents is and was. Look for signs of psychological abuse. If she’s a heavy drinker give a wide berth. If she has a lot of women friends that’s an indication she’s sociable and can look after herself if you have a hobby. Someone who makes you laugh may save you a TV licence. Aging well is quite important – check her mother out !
You can use the above guide if you’re a woman looking for a man just reverse it around.

Advantages also in being a singleton in Single town aka the Great Green Giant. You will have less demands and resultingly you should have Mr Micawber’s surplus happy shiling at the end of the year.

Couldn’t agree more gentlemen about women and their mothers! I noticed my ex would be stuck in her ways, unable to look in the mirror and realise her own faults, angry at the world and constantly falling out with her work colleagues and it was always her colleagues fault!

She was raised by her mum who had a lot of those traits so it’s no surprise, I met her when she was 20 so thought she’d grow out of those habits but sadly it wasn’t to be.

    We live and learn!

Though I’ve got a new conundrum now and not sure if any of you have experience with anything similar? Met a great, intelligent woman last week, we got along really well and she’s very attractive and intelligent, only problem is I met her while she was on holiday and she is from and lives in Bangladesh!! Not exactly a quick drive up the M1!

We went on a couple of dates and she’s already told me she loves me (does she want a passport? potentially, but she does seem like a genuine one and she’s only 21 herself so not your sterotypical Pilipino money-grabber).

Should I try and see this through? She’s mentioned coming to England next year to start a degree and told me she wants me to go to bangladesh around Easter time to stay with her for a week or two. Or should I knock it on the head before it really gets rolling? I’ve never had to contemplate committing to someone who lives 5000 miles away before.

Answers on a postcard please :bye:

    Ben….
    you met her last week
I pulled a local whilst over in Tunisia
She was welcome in my room but I refused to go down the back lane outside in the early hours of the morning when it was dark with her
you have been reading the serial killers thread have you?

Going down the back lane would have been the first thing on my mind Nathan!!!

And I know the whole thing sounds ridiculous, I would never normally pursue a woman that doesn’t live in this country, but I’ve honestly never met a woman like this one, though my confidence is at an all time low and I’m probably more keen than I otherwise would be because I don’t feel like I’ll meet many intelligent good looking women I genuinely get along with. Will try and upload a photo

    Not ridiculous at all
    She sounds great Ben,
if it was me, I’d be keeping her onside for sure
I’d be keeping my expectations low with the distance thing, its one thing having a nice two week break overseas and another having the “distance” relationship
I’d be staying friends and getting on with Life and making sure to meet up more once she is back studying in the UK
Like with all of Lifes conundrums, you have to do what’s best for you

Anyone remember the wee boy on ” It’ll be all right on the Night ”

Presenter ” What would you do if a girl tried to kiss you ”

Wee boy ” Id kick her in the head ”

We should have listen to that wee boy ……

Cheers Nathan, that’s exactly the ideal scenario for me, keep her at arms length until shes back next year (if/when that even happens) and like you said definitely don’t get my hopes up, can’t have myself tied down to a bird who may never come to these shores again while missing out on opportunities closer to home!!

Cheers HDLG, yeah tbh I’m in no massive rush as the recent breakup is still fresh, it’s just she seems keen so I’m trying to keep her keen without acting like I can’t be arsed lol, hope this photo I’ve attached below works…..

Putting the young lady under the detective’s scrutinizing eye is revealing.

This appears to be quite a status restaurant high up in the clouds – however the lack of tablecloth downgrades it and the rather messed up place settings. A full napkin is a nice touch and the wine glass has been properly machine washed carrying a good sheen. The busy city scape – that is not a river but a flat roof. I cannot see well enough but the top suggests she is wearing trousers below and that is quite usual. She wears a thin gold chain with small flat possibly circular pendant so nothing overdone and the stud type earrings are practical rather than gushing. A rather strange looking bracelet around the right wrist – certainly plain. The lilac mobile seems to be slightly darker and colour coded with her slight lipstick. Grasping the phone may show her insecurity. She looks away from the camera giving a wistful look trying to create the impression of a person who knows where they are going. A big tell is the inwardly hidden thumb of the right hand. Holding the thumb so is indicative she is introverted. She is giving the facial impression of looking confident and this hides the truth. There is no smile no teeth on show – other indication of introvertism.
She has planned her life ahead with studies in England. Not unusual. Marriages between Bengalis and English were rare in the censuses 10 years ago but times change. Her glasses are slightly large but suit her I wouid say. I don’t know if the size might make her more serious – possibly. She is not a flighty woman for sure and looks to have a plan. There are 166 million Bengalis and it’s a country that suffers huge hardships with flooding. It might be worth checking if her home is at risk of flooding.
Overall she makes a good impression Ben. She will age well but there looks to be a tendency to put on weight after 40. Check Mum. I think she is pear shaped but that’s a guess. Seeing through tables is not part of this detective’s skill set.
There is always a niggling doubt about her intentions and I’ve known some Bangladeshis and they are highly intelligent and work hard. Fairly dependable.
Hope that might help you a little Ben – I have tried to be objective.
As Ground states she is pretty – but she knows that. One wonders how many contacts she might have in her phone index and if they are mainly girl friends. We presume they are.
