Sounds nice but I cannot face any alcohol today.

Hasn’t it been a beautiful day though? I have spent the afternoon lying in the sun, but have now come inside to cool down. It seems so far away from the cold, dark, windy and wet winter days we get.

It is a lovely day. I’m not going to see anymore of it though. Just started a 8 hour shift at work till 12am. :(

But, while i’m here (here at work) at least I get chance to read and participate in some lively debate….

Just had some ice cool water from the drinks dispenser

A dip in the pool after a damn good hard days graft, followed up by HRH Mrs Lolly serving up an ice cold Nelson, served up in a chilled large wine glass.

    N.V.

I just knew that you put lemonade with your beer. Sorry mate, but you aint got no Plymouth!

    ho! ho!

your incredibly affected use of mockney rhyming slang had me rolling about like a raspberry!

i don’t think anyone who drinks ‘lager’ (as opposed to beer) from "a chilled large wine glass" can honorably criticise someone else’s drinking habits.

and anyway, as it happens, Bitter Shandy is the slightly taller, curvier friend of ‘Little Bitter Erica’, as referred to by Sir Lou of Bega…

    is there a punchline coming?

    maybe you need a cue…

"I don’t know, how can a fart roll about?"

    if it’s good, you’ll get a ripple of applause…

And I have only just seen the funny side of your "ripple".

Anyone in need of a laugh should check out:

    http://www.calademijas.com/Hippodrome.html

It says: "you can’t beat the thunder of horses hooves on turf to charge your excitement".

But, when you look at the pictures, there’s not an inch of turf there. It’s a sand track!

    Hahahah

As Gordon Ramsay might say "****
    me!".

Anyone need a concert should checkout this.

    http://www.calademijas.com/RodStewartCo … ewart.html

The home of the Spanish Derby has a full line-up of horse racing, (during summer the racing goes on till 1:00am) plus and international line-up of performers.

Me old mate Elt, Mr Adams, as he is known locally, will be doing a night, Lenny K and I think they call him Jay Kay. He’s doing a turn aswell. 20,000 sell-out for all of the above. Who needs turf ?<br> You ever been to an allweather Stevie?

I’ll miss you too love !

Sorry, but I forgot to mention the greatest band I have ever seen live are going there aswell. UB40 will be, hopefully performing whilst Im there (subject to their being any grass at the venue) (YOU CAN BUY IT AT THE BAR). And lets not forget the Hungarian state opera and the English National Orchestra.

As Tiger Woods might say "**** me! Look at all those golf courses.

Its 1 of only 28 within a 20 minute drive;)

It was the use of the word "turf" that made me laugh.

I’ve never been to the AW due to the fact we’ve not got any up here.

I always wondered what sort of person liked the sanitised reggae that shower have been playing for years…………now I know.

Have UB40 ever had an original idea?
