I defy anyone to come up with a worse name than Skidmark.
He was a likeable type though, DJ – always followed through with his effort.
Yeah….he was usually held-up in rear, before stain-on.
His last outing was a shocker though……….."ran out before tailing off"
I thank you.

Messy but he got there. A round of virtual applause is in order
October 15, 2007 at 21:16 #119719Left Nostril. Has to be one of the worst names ever.
October 15, 2007 at 21:18 #119721Talking of Skidmark, must have been related to First Trump!
October 15, 2007 at 21:22 #119724I liked that one, but you’ve got to go some to catch up!
October 15, 2007 at 21:38 #119732Oh and Sir Mark Prescott’s big handicap winners, always called retardingly boring names, even a bit homosexual if you ask me!

Good job I’m not asking, then – offensive posting from where I’m sitting.

Meant the word "quire" or "queer"? GC, in a good way.
I’m not buying that, and I’m beggared if I know how one could use retardingly in a "good way", either. We had this very same thread a few weeks into my TRF existence a few years ago, and one bright spark suggested that all Arab names of horses were – if I remember the correct terms – "poofy", "too difficult" and "inappropriate". Let’s not go down that route again, ta.
