Had a little look at this race last night and I quite fancy the top weight Angelena Ballerina. Came 4th (of 11) from stall 10 at Chester on her debut before running 2nd over 6f at Newmarket LTO. Drawn well today (14 of 16) and I think she has a real squeak and could go close.
Couldn’t put you off David. I wanted to back Don’t Tell Mary but was hoping for 7/2-4/1, no chance of that now so am giving the race a swerve. I’ll be surprised if something in the top half of the draw doesn’t win.
She was a shade slow to get away and pick up behind the leaders when asked to quicken. She got going ok and showed plenty toe but about 50 yds from the line she was just getting into top gear.
She could get caught out in the Queen Mary when meeting better fillies, if that’s her target. Personally would love to see her run over 6 furlongs.
